The Obama team's ties to the Brookings Institution are deep, and so are those of impeachment witness Fiona Hill.​

In at least two of the applications for its Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant targeting Trump adviser Carter Page, the FBI referred to the primary sub-source of the document as "truthful and cooperative" and "Russian-based," according to Justice Department inspector general Michael Horowitz's report last December.

Danchenko also worked for several years until 2010 at the Brookings Institution, a think tank familiar to many in the Obama administration and to one key witness in the impeachment proceedings against President Trump.

Fiona Hill, a Russia expert at the National Security Council and an impeachment witness against Trump, worked at the Brookings Institution in 2016 and co-authored a paper with Danchenko prior to the dossier being assembled, according to Real Clear Politics.

In addition, the president of the Brookings Institution — former Clinton administration figure Strobe Talbott — contacted Steele early in the Russia collusion probe and requested a copy of his dossier to share with Obama administration officials, according to Steele's recent testimony in a British lawsuit.

The investigations into Team Trump resulted in more indictments and convictions, against more people, than any other administration ever.

On the same metric, all of the tribalist and deflective counter-investigations announced by Team Trump have resulted in zero and zero, against zero.




So why don't you let us know when someone gets convicted of doing something illegal and we can agree that they should be punished for doing that illegal thing. Then we can talk about why you all cheered as Trump commuted convicted felon stone's sentence as reward for lying to congress to protect him, intimidating witnesses, and the like.

Until then, I'll file this under "Useless Noise. Variant: Diversionary".

I'm never quite sure if our Trumpers are referring to Christopher Steele, or former RNC chairman Michael Steele who detests Trump and is a political analyst at MSNBC.

Most of the major media is ignoring this story, MSN had something posted, to their credit. It makes all the wrong people look bad and it wrecks the narrative so the DNC allies aren't going to touch it until they have to.
 
The left can cry all they want, but Barr is uncovering the truth in regards to the origins of the Russia Collusion investigation, unmasking of Flynn, FISA warrants, leaks, and a bevy of associated crimes.

It's going to be interesting.

I wasn't arguing that the information was false, I was pointing out that the source is bad. Bad sources report true information all the time. The problem is the false information that they also report makes them an untrustworthy source and therefore considering anything they say is a waste of time when there are more trustworthy sources out there.

I would question the reliability of sources that refuse to report on the story, which rules out almost all of the major media. Funny that, eh?

Not reporting on a story no one cares about is not the same thing as refusing to report on a story that people are interested in for political purposes. That is what conservatives fail to grasp about the mainstream media. The MSM reports on stories that will draw viewers because they want ratings and advertising dollars. Full stop. If Joe Biden took a dump on the White House lawn, the MSM would report it because it is news that people would be interested in. There would be no suppression because they want Biden to win. They report on what the majority is interested in hearing about. No one is interested in some politically motivated investigation into some liberal think tank that will end the same way as every other nonsense political investigation Republicans have tried to weaponize against Democrats the past decade.

Agreed. Much of the liberal media have abandoned journalism and news reporting for political activism.

Source 1 was supposed to know all this insider Russian information and he's an analyst getting information from his drinking buddies? Lets not mince words here, this was an attempt to take down a President elect and covered up by the FBI, and you think its not being covered because its not popular? That's a head in the sand approach, that I believe even you must realize isn't truthful.

It led to an investigation that ultimately resulted in the indictments of 34 individuals close to Donald Trump and 3 Russian businesses for crimes ranging from fraud to conspiracy against the United States. That some of it turned out to be bad intel is hardly evidence of "an attempt to take down a President elect."

8 so far that I am aware of with more likely on the way. Many of the indicted are Russian nationals, however, and unlikely to be extradited. Which is telling in and of itself.

8 convictions showing that there were crimes worth investigating. Hence, it was in no way an attempt to take down a president elect. It was a legitimate investigation into actual crimes.
 
Dems tried to unseat Trump through impeachment and failed...truth shall set you free.
