Democrats told to abandon the racist party name -- Democrats

I do not see those defending the South as traitors to the South, and that is who they owed allegiance to.

My major complaint with Outlaw Abraham Lincoln is had he held off his invasion forces, over 630,000 lives lost in combat never would have taken place.

I only speak for republicans and am clueless why you divert to conservatives. My only sound conclusion is that you are risk adversave to saying Democrats.

I agree that Democrats do not want blacks to have an equal footing. Proof is since at least 1933 in the era of Democrats power, they never at any point gave blacks that footing of equality or else the BLM would not be protesting in Democrats cities as they do.

Not good enough. How can it be a "habit" if the Democratic Party has over 200 years of racism as part of their history?

How can it be a "habit" when blacks mostly voted Republican for 70 years from the 1860s - 1930s, until FDR became President?

It was the south that seceded from the United States and fired on Fort Sumter, both traitorous acts. The Confederates weren't the United States, that's the point. The 630,000 lives wouldn't have been lost if those acts had not been committed. There's no way around these facts.

Your admission of your cluelessness was probably unintentional, but accurate nonetheless.

I keep bringing up conservatives because party name wasnt what drove people to do the things they did....ideology was. Case in point....you could have called the Democrats of the 1860s by any other name and they still would have held the same beliefs. Thats why arguing this on the basis of party name never works out well...because that isnt the deciding factor for peoples action.

Nobody dies for the Democratic Party.... lots of people have died in the name of driving a progressive agenda. The same can be said for the Republicans and conservatism.

The fact you admit the South seceded and formed a constitution governing them, is an admission they were not part of the USA and could never be called traitors.

Washington and his illegal band of fighters were not the lawful Government of England either but should we call Washington our first president a traitor?
No were you correct it would have been up to James Buchanan to wage war and he refused. Buchanan took the proper course of action.

What cover do they need? They have history as thier cover. I mean really.....yes, they USED to be the party of racists and segregationists, but that has since changed. Nowadays, anybody who is considered to be a segregationist mouthpiece wants nothing to do with Democrats.

There has been no conservative party in power any of the times you speak of.

YES #1. Your guess is flat wrong. Trump has done his best on CV19. The person you should hate is Gov. Cuomo of NY who deliberately housed the CV19 ill at Nursing facilities.

He led all states in CV19 deaths and picked as his targets, the old.
