Democrats told to abandon the racist party name -- Democrats

Party of slavery.
Party of the KKK.
Party of Jim Crow.
Party that almost stopped the civil rights and voting act.
Party that opposed school integration.

But the Democrats' own standard, they should be CANCELLED.
 
Actually, that's pretty funny. But if we have to change the name of all the political parties that use racism to appeal to white voters, a strategy that the Republicans have since taken over from the Democrats, and perform much more artfully, the only one that needn't bother is probably the Communist Party.
 
Are they tearing down statues of former KKK grand Kleagle Robert C. Byrd in West Virginia yet? If not this is all BS. I want every statue to Robt. C. Byrd destroyed and hanged in efigy.

A Kleagle is an officer of the Ku Klux Klan whose main role is to recruit new members.

Things have changed. Today, the Republican Party opposes the Voting Rights Act (their SCOTUS judges stripped the enforcement provisions form it). Today its the Republican Party that is supported by the KKK, and the party protections a statue to its founder. Today, it is Republicans who protect the confederate statues put up in the Jim Crow era. Today, it is republican judicial nominees who decline to affirm Brown v Board in their confirmation hearings.

Did you know that it was a republican judge who wrote the majority opinion for Plessy v Ferguson, the Supreme court decision that made Jim Crow national and overturned the civil Rights act over 1875?

No one's hands are clean on this.

And Woodrow Wilson, another Democrat well known for his racist views.
FDR, who incarcerated over a 100,000 Japanese-Americans, most citizens.
