Erm, I said the exact opposite.
I said the state has the right to tell the feds to sod-off.

We don't really have anything similar in the UK as far as I know. We have different branches of the police but they're still just police and erm unless you count the security service like MI5 who deal with terrorist cases and I think even they have to have police involvement. It's all very odd to me this whole one branch of government telling another branch of government how to do police type stuff.
I think the nearest we get is maybe English police doing stuff in Scotland and it being a tiny bit of extra paperwork maybe.

I guess when the government is overstepping their authority against Americans they don't like it's OK for the Feds to act like dictators.

Were it simply a matter of President of the United States of America Donald Trump showing his age and driving a car poorly, caring and loving relatives would gently take the keys away. We cannot expect the self-serving Republican members of the legislature nor the White House enablers to perform that function for President Trump.

Bringing a link to the thread that clearly outlines the legality of sending federal help into cities is not a Nazi agenda, but hey, but whatever floats your boat.

They're not arresting peaceful protesters but you already knew that...The link goes back to the end of May of this year, but I have listed violent, illegal activity from just the past week by anarchists. Allowing or ignoring lawless destruction because the anti-Trump cultists is classic insanity.

Six violent anarchists were detained and cited.
A mob of 300 refused to comply with directions not to trespass on federal property.
Another mob of 200 individuals armed with sledgehammers, tasers and/or stun guns, gathered in Chapman Park across from the Hatfield Courthouse.

Violent anarchists deployed a plywood blockade while graffitiing the Edith Green-Wenell Wyatt Federal Building, before firing wrist rockets at the facility.
When an arrest team was deployed to apprehend a rioter who encroached on a police barrier and refused to leave, they were assaulted by violent anarchists.
A rioter trespassed on the steps of the Hatfield Courthouse and was confronted by federal law enforcement Officers, then swallowed a large amount of narcotics. Law enforcement called medical services after the individual started to convulse.
Despite more orders to stay off of federal property and to cease unlawful activity, FPS was forced to push back violent anarchists. The Portland Police Bureau declared the mob an unlawful assembly.

Violent anarchists released personal information of federal law enforcement officers to the public, publishing names of those in Portland.

Despite all the pearl-clutching and hand-wringing, crime rates across the country are still lower than they were 10 or 15 years ago - by a long shot.

New York, Portland and Chicago are doing just fine. Your faux-outrage isn't needed.

You cheapen the phrase "fear-mongering"... Speaking the truth of the matter is not fear mongering... Saying Trump colluded with Russia is fear-mongering.

What you are doing above is denying the seriousness of violent anarchists destroying federal facilities while ignoring the responsibility of DHS who was put in place to protect institutions of justice.
