No. States that aren't able to vote by mail should require masks and make everyone douse their hands in hand sanitizer as they enter the voting booth. Perhaps extend voting for two days with suggested voting times via home address. It would make lines shorter, if their employers would cooperate. And those that couldn't adhere to the suggestions would still be able to vote. It might help with lines not being quite so long.

The way things are going right now, it's not going to make that much difference, anyway.
 
Of course not. But states should use mail ballots.

Mail in ballots and all voting stations should be open for a week.

Of course, an unsubstantiated pronouncement posed as a question. No independent thinking hypothesis and conclusion.

Although, the OP revealed a trump and Hannity talking point "Hacked". Desperation that with a delay, trump's dismal numbers will improve, maybe a Supreme court vacancy.

It would be a difficult and hypocritical argument for trumpians to use covid for delay, as they call it a Hoax.

Conversally, most Americans are out and about, wearing masks, working, in public, living his and her life. So, either way; responsible wait in line with 6ft separation like we are doing everywhere to vote.

Or mail-in voting. Do voters wonder; the U.S. has had 7 months of a pandemic crisis, and with the power of the U.S. government and resources, there hasn't been a task force from the W.H. to come up with a safe and secure mail- in voting process.

Instead more baby like whining by little donald. Cry baby with no solutions.

Exactly.

People spend a lot longer in a grocery store than they ever will in a voting booth.

If masks and social distancing works in stores...they'll work at the polls.
 
We hear from time to time that our republic form of democracy has the advantage of the several states becoming 'laboratories' for varying systems. There are a number of states that have successfully used mail-in balloting for years. Those states new to the game need not even devise systems for themselves. All they need do is observe and imitate.

I have mail-in voting available to me, but due to my States position of actually caring about it's citizens and voting; understanding voters work, have child care issues, have other responsibilities, make voting convenient.

We, across the State, have nearby voting venues, which reduces lines, reduces time needed, reduces crowds.

The States that for whatever reason are unable to provide convenient, nearby voting must offer mail-in voting.

Trump needs to stop whining and come up with the W.H. safety and security protocols for mail-in voting, otherwise trump and his minions need to set an example and vote in person.

But, realistically, what is wrong with mail-in voting?
 
For the first time in over thirty years I've received a request for a mail in ballot in Florida. That almost guarantees a loss for trump here. This election I will be using it.
