As usual, Trump makes a damned fool out of himself, he is trying so hard to sling mud at Biden, but even Fox News isn't having it. :lamo (video at the link):


President Donald Trump interrupted an interview with Chris Wallace on Friday, after the Fox News host told him that former Vice President Joe Biden does not want to “defund” police departments.

The incident occurred as the two were discussing a rise in crime.

“It’s because they want to defund the police — and Biden wants to defund the police,” Trump said.

“Sir, he does not,” Wallace interjected.

“Look, he signed a charter with Bernie Sanders,” Trump began.

“And it says nothing about defunding the police,” Wallace insisted.

“Oh really? It says abolish. It says — let’s go. Get me the charter, please,” Trump said, interrupting the interview.

Wallace said that Trump had an aide retrieve the charter in question. But the president failed to find language about defunding the police after reading through it.

Fact is, Trump tried to push forward another easily disprovable lie, and he got called out on it, and hilarity ensued.

This ep will air Sunday, then?

Wallace is a pretty straight shooter, but I'm kinda' blown away that Fox will come out this hard against Trump. I don't think I've seen a recent Fox example that egregious. Especially where they see to be making light of his reaction after the interview on the veranda.

Why was Trump, having received and reviewed the document, unable to support his claim? Doesn't he have advisers.

By going on Fox, Trump assumed he was speaking to his base. They buy his lies. He fell apart when Wallace made it a 'news' show.

Biden doesn't even have to appear on camera once between now and November. Trump is losing the election, daily, on his own. We all know his drooling supporters won't think this is wrong, but sadly for them and Trump, most people in the country aren't stupid. Nobody wants a clown in the Oval Office.

Bret Baier was pretty critical of Trump holding the rally in the Rose Garden the other day. I was happy to hear him.

Of course, 3 hours later, Laura Ingraham was fellating Trump and Hannity was droning on about Hilary's emails.

We haven't seen the cult try to defend this yet. Just one pathetic attack of Chris Wallace. That exemplifies that they have nothing left, mind you there is still a sizeable number of knuckle dragging dimwits and poltroons out there who would vote for him even if he raped their dog, not much you can do about the intentionally stupid... (except point and laugh)

Its funny to watch Trump spin his wheels and try to create some kind of attack meme against Biden, its not working, it really makes him look feckless. Fact is, Biden is a grown up, and yeah, he is vanilla, but this country really needs vanilla.
