A little injection of minimalist living would do this country a world of good. America rose to greatness immediately after WWII because we learned to accept and embrace personal sacrifice and teamwork for the common good of the nation through rationing, recycling, and stepping up to tasks that benefited the general populace rather than blatant personal gain. Since the 1950's, we have replaced function and durability with flash and fashion; a person's worth was gauged by creativity and compassion, not money and not conspicuous consumption. We have become a disposable society in more ways than one.

What a lot of BS. None of what you are talking about is going to happen. Biden was VP for 8 years and none of that happened then. In addition, any changes of that magnitude cannot be done by executive order, meaning it would have to be voted on.

As far as your title is concerned. We first have to get out of the emotional depression that Trump has us all under before any other depression sinks in. Getting out of emotional depression is something we need medicine for and Biden has proven in the past to be good medicine for depressive states. Hugs and well wishes that he gives in high amounts works well for emotional depression.

If Biden's handlers get power, which is what a vote for Biden means, then it will go way beyond a horrible depression. The country as we've known it will cease to exist. They'll be selling copies of the Constitution to line bird cages.

Uh, yea...when asked if he would confiscate so called "assault weapons" he said "Bingo". The Constitution gives him no such power. I also see nothing from him that indicates he has any problem with the lawless mobs destroying statues and other property. America under the current Dem party will not be the America we've known.

Agreed.
We are already seeing the results of the leftist public policy of 'de-fund/disband the police' and it's results.
Those most vulnerable suffer the most, while the leftist elected officials make sure they have their own tax payer funded security details.
Marie Antoinette couldn't best their attitude of disregard for those most vulnerable.

It is completely reasonable and logical to expect much the same failure in performance in other areas, such as individual rights (degraded by the cultural Marxism-Leninism of SJW, excessive PC, cancel culture and 'woke' utter idiocies) enforced by the barrel of the government gun (already seeing some of this from leftist controlled local governments), as well as economical idiocies such as 'The New Green Deal' and 'lets tax corporations at 90%' (who's going to be left to hire of workers?)
