Chuck Woolery, the game show host-turned Trump-bot who helmed Wheel of Fortune (pre-Pat Sajak) and Love Connection for many years, earned a Trump retweet on Sunday night after claiming everyone is lying about COVID.

Tweeted Woolery, who is now 79 and a conservative podcast host: “The most outrageous lies are the ones about Covid 19. Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most ,that we are told to trust. I think it’s all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I’m sick of it.”

The reality is that the entire world (all the countries) have conspired to prevent Trump getting re-elected. The virus has been a conspiracy hoax started by the Chinese to get Biden elected.

The impeachment was a hoax, the Mueller investigation was a hoax, the statement about Trump lying has been a hoax.

When will people realize that Trump is a stable genius and God's chosen one to lead the world to a worldwide economic utopia? Everyone is evil and they are all fighting in trying to dethrone the one person that is trying to help humanity get rich.

I am sick at the constant lies and attempts to degrade the best thing that has ever happened to us. The Constitution? Trash that, we have Trump's guidelines! Justice by our peers, forget that, we have Barr telling us what is right and wrong. Education? Only the rich should get it. Betsy Devos is trying to do the right thing.

It is so frustrating to see all this fake news and misinformation that is being given by the Media, by Doctors, by other Presidents and by the Demon backed Democrats which should be wiped from the face of the earth.

I am now nominating Chuck Woolery to hero status and totally forgetting about previous fake patriots like John McCain that actually was not captured and tortured but was part of the conspiracy that started 50 years ago when it was visualized in advance that Trump would become president and had to be stopped.

I have to hand it to Trump Panty Sniffers. They get more ignorant by the day. That isn't easy, considering how low their intelligence was to begin with.
 
The economy. It's already shot and will be for some time to come. How many business can survive on fifty percent of their normal business. Free markets, remember them? If a business can't make it, oh well, that's business, free markets.

Instead of our government bailing out business how about they bail out people. Consumer spending is what drives business and the economy. It would have been cheaper and way less deadly if our government had given all adults over eighteen two grand a month and ordered people to stay home for six months. But no, we need to give the los angeles lakers ten million, the airlines who have no passengers need the money, harvard certainly needed it I'm sure everyone will agree. We do things ass backwards but we always make sure we take care of those free market businesses.

Agreed. My unemployment benefits are going to drop down to ~10% of my usual salary because I only worked at my last job for the last two months in 2019. We definitely will be cutting way back on our retail and restaurant spending. We already have to a small extent to cushion the next 3-6 months. All the companies interested in hiring me paused hiring and say they will not start again until October at the earliest and February at the latest.

The best part is that Out-of-touch McConnell seems to think unemployment insurance is discouraging people from getting jobs. That may be true for a small percentage of those who are unemployed, but it is difficult to go back to jobs that do not even exist for the rest of us. What are we expected to do when many companies have put new hires on hold?

Trump's approach is to prop-up the stock market and then point to those numbers as a successful economy. The reported unemployment numbers will be falling like a rock as you are only counted as unemployed for 6 mos. Winning!!!

Hmm... if you gave a every adult $2K/month and ordered them to stay home then who would work?

BTW, the $600/week federal UI "bonus" being offered now is more than $2K/month.

Agreed. Although there are many folks on here who want to paint others as lazy and don't want to work, why they keep talking about their own kids that way is beyond me, however I find that kind of thinking to be bs. People need to eat, people need to sleep and most people need a car and unless you're a crook working is the surest way of getting those things.

The current federal UI "bonus" of an extra $600/week (on top of state UI benefits) is far more than $2K/month.

If everyone got two grand a month there would be no unemployment benefits, that's double dipping and although some folks are fine with it, I'm not.

Which oh by the way, is ending at the end of this month. With the eviction and foreclosure moratoriums also ending, there will be an additional (Est) 20 million people loosing their place to live while unemployed. That's a great economy folk's. At least Trump will try and spin it that way.

For the icing on the cake, the Trump admin is actively fighting in court to wipe out the ACA, with no health care plan to replace it with. You would think Trump is trying to loose.

You have yet to explain how everyone could be ordered to stay home (should we start by closing all roadways, airport and public transit systems?). It is also "double dipping" to pay those not staying home $2K/month more than they are getting while working.

That is true for people who were able to get UI. I nearly missed the cut because my last job was November-January before I was laid off. I still only receive November-December due to how UI works with ignoring the most recent two quarters. My employer before that denied my benefits since they were not responsible for me getting laid off.

Anyone who started a new job in January and lost it is not getting UI benefits. I would be willing to bet that is a fairly large chunk of people who are currently without a job and with no financial compensation for their unemployment. They cannot even start to file for unemployment until about now, and they will not be getting the extra $600 since that ends in two weeks.
