Ultmd's FIRST RULE OF POLITICAL DEBATE: Never, never, never....EVER....believe ANYTHING you see, hear or read from the conservative FakeNews media, until that same story as been confirmed and reported by a LEGITIMATE news organization.

The reason this story hasn't been repeated as a "#BLM" shooting seem pretty clear to me. There is ZERO evidence that this had anything to do with #BLM, at all. We DO know that the victim and her friends are/were a bunch of bigots who were casually slurring African-Americans when they were confronted.

So why in the world would #BLM feel ANY need to say a word about this incident? Certainly, they shouldn't lose any sleep over what a bunch of white natty types think they ought to do. We don't know even know if the shooters were the same people who argued with the Ms. Doty and her ignorant, hateful friends.

Until this story is picked up by a legitimate news organization...you'd have to be an flaming idiot to believe it happened as described by that bigot's boyfriend.

I never like to see people die due to gun violence. But blaming #BLM here is not right.

It's very typical of the white natty crowd...but it's still not right.

It's a high crime area and this was the third shooting in a week (you know, if you read the local reports that were posted it's pretty obvious what happened.)

This isn't about BLM, "all lives matter" or any other movement or stupid saying. It's about young idiots going out at 3 AM to the canal. Armed. Think about that for a moment.

What they argued about has absolutely nothing to do with BLM. I'm upping my criticism of the OP from incorrect to a lie.

Nope...but glad to see you so callous about the murder of a mother. The only thing some say is having a gun gives you more of a chance. In fact, it might've kept her from being killed earlier when their group was able to pull a gun in response to the 1st group.

Yes, it was 7 days ago. And yet, the story in the OP is also dated today.

So what took the alt-right/fakenews media so long? Why didn't the Daily Mail or Breitbart or Washington Times, etc. etc. report on this LAST weekend, huh?

Nobody knows what happened but the suspects and the boyfriend. Next time, he should take his girlfriend home, or to the woods. I want to know why he took his girlfriend to the canal. This was the third shooting in a week. They were obviously aware of this.

I don't take this guy at his word. Lots of questions to answer. Why were they there? He says he was holding her when she was shot. He said he returned fire. Lots of questions to answer

A 3am shooting is not going to be BLM related. Besides, reports I read stated that this supposed good mother who was out cohorting with fools at about 3am used the N-word, directing it at a group of black people--at 3AM.

I can see where that would get someone shot.

Everything is uber-<the opposite of me> propaganda when you're looking in from the extreme.

BBC is slightly left on the complete spectrum. Those on both extremes are so far away from normal, they just can't see the middle anymore. This is a serious problem.

Based on quick research, it was 3am, a place where multiple robberies had recently occurred, confrontation with guns, not much detail.

It is tragic that a young woman is dead. The shooter should be prosecuted.

The real story is tragic but it doesn't appear to be as simple as headline indicates.

That said, all should condemn senseless violence.

Let me be clear, the event is inexcusable and the outcome tragic. I condone no violence, period.

I am commenting more on the lack of MSM coverage. The evidence suggests that it wasn't covered because the linked story is not accurate.

Unfortunately, not every murder is covered.

well George Floyd died of a heart attack and one side is allowed to demand Marxist revolution on a lie, so they should at least report on a case like this that's getting substantial alternative media coverage
