Chris Christie throws Trump under bus

You suggested 'traitorous' wasn't the same as treason and I corrected you. Simple as that. Quit squirming; you know you got caught out and so does everyone else reading this thread. Post #94.

'Traitor'-one who commits treason.
'Traitorous'-an act of treason.
'Treachery'-an act of treason.

Try using a dictionary occasionally.

I said traitorous not treasonous. A traitor can be one who commits treason but also not. Your problem is that I do use the dictionary. Here you go snake here is an example of what you didn't know.

trai•tor•ous*trā′tər-əs

adj.

Having the character of a traitor; disloyal*synonym:*faithless.

Derrrp, good one. I'm impressed. Do you also think people coming here seeking asylum are also criminals?
Stop changing the subject. We are determining why you don't think this black girls life mattered enough to you to denounce her killers.

Everyone sees Trump as a loser because of the polls. Christie wouldn't have dared thrown Trump under the bus two months ago.

Do you think Christie is right?

I think you're right about Christie not throwing Trump under the bus two month's ago. He would have supported Trump. Whether one perceives it being right or wrong, it doesn't really matter. The power to pardon and to commute sentences is a Constitutional power. Bill Clinton pardoned Marc Rich who was a fugitive living in Switzerland. A huge donor. That raised a huge stink also.

These things die down rather quickly. In the grand scheme of things, this means nothing. Where we stand on with the CoronaVirus and how Trump responded to it will in my opinion be the big issue. Pretty much dwarfing all other issues. This could change if all of a sudden we enter a rapid recovery, but I doubt that.

I loved his work on Obama's birth certificate. If you can't admire that, something is wrong with you.

Yeah, Arpio should have checked the sources for the Obama birth certificate more closely, and had he done better due diligence in that regard he would have discounted the conspiracy theory based on the source of the theory---- The Hillary Clinton campaign.

I agree - we've become immune to this kind of open corruption from Trump. Of course he rewarded a guy who wasn't a "rat." In another era it would be a scandal, but we knew it was coming, Stone told us he kept his mouth shut to protect Trump, and Trump did the quid pro quo, not quite in the open, but the next best thing. And the GOP don't care.

While I agree, I don't think 95% of Americans care who he pardoned, commuted or what. Folks on sites like this one are about the only ones making a big deal of it. In other words, only the very political active folks. So that 95% might be too high. If one is against Trump, this is another nail in the coffin of a list of thousands things why one is against him. If one is for Trump, one doesn't care who he pardon's or what sentences are commuted.

If one is somehow in-between being for or against Trump, the few, you're more concerned with the pandemic than any pardon or commutation. Believe it or not, 16% of all Americans say they neither like nor dislike Trump which includes 22% of all independents. Question 91. Trump Likability - Regardless of whether you agree with him, do you like or dislike Donald Trump as a person?

But yes, I think we're pretty much immune to anything Trump does. I also think the pandemic, the corona virus overshadows everything else. At least at the moment. I highly doubt anyone is going to change their vote concerning Stone. But where we stand come November on the pandemic, that will probably determine who wins and who loses. Right now, advantage is all Biden and the democrats. I don't expect that is going to change, but it could with 4 months remaining. In mid July Hilary Clinton, John Kerry, Micheal Dukakis, Hubert Humphrey all led in the polls and all lost. So in 4 of the last 13 elections the leader in mid July lost. 7 times the leader went on to a win. So there is no guarantee that changes couldn't occur, but as I said, I highly doubt they will unless some major unforeseen event or happening occurs.

Only people who didn't like him were criminals and those who like to be soft on criminals an/or excuse their behavior.

Also not liking him are the DoJ, and the jury of his peers who convicted him. Oh, he also is a huge birther. He's just another criminal scum the to whom the mango menace granted clemency.

We who? Do you have voices in your head?

We = me and others reading your dodge.
You refuse to denounce the killers of an 8 yr old girl gunned down by BLM. Why doesn't her life matter? I thought Black Lives Mattered. Is that no longer true or are you about to denounce BLM for killing an 8 yr ild? At 3 dodges we can confirm your true feelings towards black lives mattering.

You and your friends can feel free to condemn me to anything you wish if it makes you feel better. We? The voices again?

'Legal' and 'morally questionable' are mutually exclusive-and considering Trump's record of immorality and criminality it doesn't take a genius to join the dots.

Every President pardons people. Legally,

Morally questionable is not part of the equation. AFAIK President Trump has never been indicted in spite of 3 years of attempting.

True, yet neither is Biden.

But Biden has never been considered dumb. Trump is accused of being an idiot by almost everyone who works for him. Even one of his teachers at Wharton said he was the dumbest student he ever taught. And we all saw for ourselves his disinfectant and UV light suggestions. Or his reducing testing reduces cases logic. So, there's no comparison between Trump and Biden in terms of intelligence.

He hasn't been indicted because it's against policy to indict a sitting president. He gets indicted the moment he leaves office.

Whatever. He might or might not.

We can discuss this in 4 years. 4 months.

So, if you lie for a president who is being investigated, then are convicted by a jury of your peers for lying, you think the president should be able to pardon or commute your sentence?

It seems you are willing to destroy your country to protect your president.

You and your friends can feel free to condemn me to anything you wish if it makes you feel better. We? The voices again?

So you have no explanation of why you don't care about an 8 yr old girl being shot. Figures. Yes pointing out despicable behavior does make me feel better.

Libs always say these emoting things giving no evidence

Like we're just supposed to agree just bc u say it....

I know u think people are stupid but this is really out there

with no evidence. holy crap.

actual, true marks these Trump folks are.

Right, but as I've posted over and over, when the right is poisoned to a freakish, imaginary idea of Democrats that they want to destroy and enslave the country, it doesn't matter to them. Vote for anyone against Democrats. When you have irrational crazy manipulated voters, you get bad voting.

it's why Rush and Sean are so critical to their cause (hate/Confederate class system). those two massive liars have literally convinced millions of Americans that Democrats are...

wait for it...

Satan.

Meanwhile..same guy^ and his ilk had no problems whatsoever with obama pardoning bona fide terrorists.

This right here is how we confirm you lefties are full of ****.
Susan Rosenberg - Wikipedia

i guess that's a good a thing to divert to as any (to change the conversation away from Trump being corrupt to his core). doesn't change anything about Trump being corrupt to his core though. it's just who he is.

Yes, keep squirming. You lost; deal with it. Traitorous, treacherous and treasonous are synonymous.
