Ben Shapiro schools democrats

Not really. Shapiro makes a lot of bold claims and does not back them up with facts, and then he expects opposing members in the audience to back up their claims with facts. I already refuted his first interaction. I will have to watch the rest and see what else is refutable.

People who make claims based on opinion are always right in their own minds. It is, after all, their opinions that they are using as part of their arguments. Opinions are not the same as facts, no matter how arrogantly someone tries to pass them off as such.

That is right eg. Democrats are not presenting facts, they are only insulting. Insults are not facts.

Shapiro is not there to teach a course. He gave a good talk and had to bat down a nutty person in the audience.

Especially when many do so without providing any summary of the video, what points they believe the subject of the video made, etc. "Here, watch this," is not really an attention grabber for most people. If the video holds no interest, that is 15-16 minutes of life wasted on a stupid video.

Agreed. I'm much more likely to watch a video if a summary is provided. "One the libs, argle bargle" is not a summary.

Was Shapiro correct that Black Americans sell drugs at a disproportionately higher rate than White Americans? No. So why are Black Americans arrested at a disproportionately higher rate for drug related crimes? The ratio of drug sales appears to be about 6 Black Americans for every 5 White Americans. Yet Black Americans are arrested at a ratio of 3 to 1. Black Americans are imprisoned at a rate of 7 to 1 in state prisons and 6 to 1 in federal prisons.

His argument was absolutely wrong, and yet you say he deals only with facts?

I believe Ben was correct. And can you prove blacks get arrested unjustly?

If you don't want to do the time, don't do the crime.

I already proved that they are arrested disproportionately, which implies unjustly. If you believe Ben was correct, all I can say is I feel sorry for you. Brainwashing really needs to stop in our country.

He is saying people who sell drugs are more likely to be arrested than people who buy drugs. The claim is that Black Americans sell drugs disproportionately to White Americans, so they get arrested more. The problem is that facts do not support that assertion. Black Americans sell drugs at a rate of 6 to 5 when compared to White Americans. Yet they are arrested at a rate of 3 to 1, incarcerated at a rate of 7 to 1 in state prisons, and incarcerated at a rate of 6 to 1 in federal prisons. He still believes Ben Shapiro's assertion is correct even after being notified of those statistics. Robert is, like many Americans today, brainwashed by media to believe opinions over facts as long as those opinions support his own biases.

Common sense. If the same percentage of White Americans as Black Americans are committing the same crimes, the same percentage of each should also be arrested and incarcerated for those crimes. You said it yourself, "If you don't want to do the time, don't do the crime." If that is true, why is it that White Americans are less likely to do the time for the same crime? Your own slogan fails for White Americans, or maybe it is that you feel it is fair for Black Americans to do time for crimes while White Americans doing those same crimes walk free? Do you feel like White Americans should be considered innocent until proven guilty, but Black Americans should be considered guilty until proven innocent?

Regardless, you are deflecting from the main topic. The main topic is that Ben Shapiro claimed that Black Americans are arrested more because they commit drug dealing crimes far more often, which is simply untrue. You have not even addressed that bold, but wrong, assertion.
