How Joe Biden Might Avoid Debating Trump

He's done a fantastic job as our president. The economy prior to the Covid pandemic was VERY strong with record low unemployment rates for just about every demographic. Trump did not send us to war and instead brought back home our troops that were stationed in Syria and Afghanistan. We destroyed ISIS and successfully moved our embassy to Jerusalem. We scored MANY better trade deals, including with Jpan and China. We got out of the horrendous Paris Climate pact and Iran nuclear scams and vastly improved our border security. We also succeeded in getting legislative tax reform passed. And all of this was accomplished while no Constitutional Rights have been taken away from our citizens.

I could EASILY go on and on, but you get the gist ..... President Trump is a WINNER.

Biden will do just fine. I can see some "there you go again" moments reminiscent of 1980.

This isn't 2016. Trump had nothing to lose in 2016. If Trump does show up to debate Biden (I believe cooler heads may prevail and convince him to drop out), his behavior can be expected to mimic his covid briefings. Won't be a pretty sight. Hopefully, somebody stops him from completely embarrassing himself, his supporters and the nation.

That’s what I’m saying. No need to debate someone who really isn’t there to debate in the first place.

Biden clearly is more experienced and well read in current events and can speak to it. A traditional debate would be a no-brained win for Biden.

Biden is going to kick Trump's ass so bad I wouldn't be surprised if Trump storms off the stage in a huff before the debate is over and by storm off I mean shuffle off slowly while someone holds his tiny little hand so he doesn't fall down.

There are counterpoints to most of those, but nonetheless, Trump is being viewed in much broader terms, related to his handling of crises and his persona.

Moving our embassy was pandering. Doesn't do a thing for any of us here.

Are you blaming the pandemic on Trump? He was the first G-10 leader to ban travel with China and Europe. This at a time when the WHO said it was unnecessary and Joe Biden said it was racist and xenophobic.

Are you blaming the BLM riots and the arson, looting, assaults, murders and rapes that were committed during the violent Democrat supported events on President Trump?

Only at the third debate. The first debate he calls the moderator a horrible person, the second he says, "Do you want me to leave? I will. I'll walk right off this stage. One more horrible question like that and I'll leave. Then you can explain to the American people why you ruined the debates..." The third debate, he leaves. :mrgreen:

Moving the embassy was a campaign promise kept. ex presidents Clinton and Bush jr also made the promise and failed to come through during their combined 16 years as the leaders of the USA. President Trump showed true solidarity with our ally Israel, as opposed to Democrats who openly call for the destruction of Israel.

PANDERING is what Joe Biden and the DNC are doing with their Vice President selection (which will not be based on qualifications and skills ... but rather on SKIN COLOR and GENITALS).

With the recent "Black Lives Matters" mob riots you've seen Democrats pander to their demands which has included turning on our police officers and wiping out police departments.

A good president would have reacted to the pandemic as South Korea did and stopped the disease shortly after it was detected and the economy would have been back on track in 3 months instead of what looks like an on-going disaster. What happened before the pandemic is history. What's happening now is what people see and feel.

All the rest of the things you mention as positive are actually going to or have hurt us badly. As far as Constitutional rights I'm guessing you don't give a **** about anyone's rights except your white male rights. Talk to some minorities, women, the working poor, disabled, DACA kids, people who lost their Obamacare, the elderly, teachers, students, legal immigrants, people with asthma living near coal-fired power plants. Trump has hurt many.

Israel is our ally only in the eyes of the religious right who need all the Jews in Israel in order to get to heaven. Nothing like running the country so a few paranoid "Revelation"nut cases can witness the 2nd coming.

Have you noticed how Trump rambles off topic and blames others when he can't answer tough questions? Sometimes he calls them names.

Think it wouldn't be brought up that the Trump children have so much influence in the Whitehouse without any relevant experience in those matters they are tasked with if he tries that route? Won't go well for him.
