The oil industry, much like everything else Trump supports, like Confederate monuments, is dying. No matter how inspiring the rhetoric, we really can't go backward.

Trump has done damage to this country that will take decades to repair. The country is tired of the dog and pony show.

We are a very long way from breaking our dependence on oil despite incredible progress with solar power.

Try functioning without an oil industry. Any idea how many products are directly or indirectly tied to oil? This country would die without it.
 
At least joe sounds like a democrat, whereas Trump sounds more like a dictator than a republican.

Apart from hammering the standard dems' mantra - it's for the children, for the poor, for the old, for the minorities - he managed to copy some of Trump's phrases: buy American, invest in American companies, bad China, I will never let this country down etc.

Biden gave a mish-mash of old dems' speeches and catch phrases "stolen" from Trump.

Dems are desperate ... :lol:

Yeah, lets just cap off all the oil wells and go straight to wind and solar. Mount those panels on top of your car, or maybe a windmill in your backyard.
