From the very beginning of my coming to Debate politics board I have stated that Trump is a liar and the he has no morals, ethics, principles or humanity and during the 3+ years I have been here, no one has been able to prove me wrong. By the same token, other than my own beliefs, knowledge and intelligence about the subject, no one close to Trump with the ability to know the same things I know has stated the same.

That has now changed with Mary Trump's book that just came out. Mary Trump is Donald's niece who knew Donald well, being part of the family.

One thing that caught my attention this morning as I was reading some of excerpts of her book was the following statement:

"The only time Donald went to church was when the cameras were there," Mary writes, quoting her aunt. "It's mind boggling. But that's all about his base. He has no principles. None!"

"I go to Church a lot" (Donald Trump in an interview)

This is proof from someone who knows Trump personally that he lies and the video above is proof that he is a con man. If someone is proven to be a con man, then everything else said negatively about the man must be 100% true. A man with no morals, ethics, principles or humanity.

This also means that those that support him, also support being amoral, unethical, unprincipled, and inhumane!

Anyone with even a mild interest in looking at Trump's background, business dealings, lawsuits, prior associations, Twitter rants, and the mix should be able to conclude that Trump is perhaps the best con man of our generation up to and including the capability of hijacking a party realigned to the most prejudicial and white nationalistic populace left in existence in this nation.

"He is highly biblical, and I would say to your listeners, we will in all likelihood never see a more godly, biblical president again in our lifetime." - Michelle Bachmann

"(Trump is the) chosen one, God's used imperfect people all through history. King David wasn't perfect. Saul wasn't perfect. Solomon wasn't perfect." - Rick Perry

"I believe that Donald Trump believes—he believes in God. He believes in Jesus Christ. His depth—he doesn’t, you know, he went to churches here in New York; he didn’t get a whole lot of teaching." - Billy Graham

"I believe this is a president who wears the full armor of God." - some other evangelical lunatic.

Anyone and everyone that supports Trump is an enabler, even in the most passive context just a vote for Trump is a vote for perhaps the biggest scam on the Executive Branch in US history (and that is saying something given the entertainment, for lack of a better word, that office has seen over the years.)

This could be one of the things (tax records, losing presidency) that pushes Flim-Flam Trump over the edge.

Who here would state that their guiding principles are to be dishonest, disingenuous, thoughtless and uncaring, with money more important than anything else?

If you were honest, you'd admit that you'd be entralled with any book denigrating Trump, whether it's BS or not. That BS was the entire foundation of the Trump/Russia collusion junk, and you rode that train right into the wall with enthusiasm.

so you like a lot of other people on the right think the impeachment was a made up thing by the left.
well did you ever consider that IF McConnell and several other Senators had NOT broken their OATH to be IMPRACTICAL and not had their minds make up to how they were going to vote before the Trump impeachment trial even started and HAD listened to the evidence like they swore they would.
and not had their heads up Trumps back side how things might have turned out
But they didn't
they broke their oath and had made their minds up way before it even got to the Senate
They should be brought up on ethics charges and kicked out of office for ever
Have a nice day

This author was a supporter of Hillary Clinton.

You seem to be asserting that as the niece of the President, she was intimately familiar with every preference and action of the President.

As the nephew of the my Uncles and Aunts, I was vaguely aware of them and accepted pretty much whatever my parents told me about them as the general impressions that I held.

Did this author recently live with the President for an extended period of years observing the actions and habits of the President?

I can't find any reference to that kind of closeness.

Isn't it at all possible that supporters of the President appreciate the results that he delivers?

The Highest number of Americans employed earning the highest wages and developing the greatest wealth in the history of the Republic.

Regulations reduced. Taxes reduced. Take home pay increased. Manufacturing jobs increased. Energy independence achieved. Employers attracted to our shores.

The only person in Washington DC more interested in the well being of the common man than in the wealth he is able to steal.

All of the opinions you hold regarding whether he is a soft hearted sap are interesting and entirely disconnected from the execution of his responsibilities.

You are 100% correct in your statement (bolded). No one would state that they support those. Then again, most people are liars by nature and more so Trump supporters, given that they have supported a man that has told over 17,000 lies while in office. People are hypocrites.

As far as being enthralled that a family book came out denigrating him, you are also 100% correct. My one goal in life is seeking knowledge and any book that comes out that supports the knowledge I have obtained is welcome. As far as the Russian collusion junk you mention hitting a wall, there you are 100% wrong. It did not hit a wall, it hit an inability to reach the people that actually know and can tell about the collusion, which is Putin and the Russian. It was never stated that there was no collusion, what was stated was that they could find no proof of collusion. He was not proved innocent, he was just not proved to be guilty beyond reasonable doubt. Big difference.

Then again, one thing that is fact is that Trump did have over 13 Russian Oligarchs stay at his Trump Tower, buy properties from him at 2 and 3 times the value, did go into a business association with the Bayrock Group, which was Russian Mafia owned and did have to borrow money from the Deutshe Bank which is also known to be backed by Russian money. So here, you have not proven your point.

Sorry, but your post is simply one more attempt to excuse Trump. You have not proven your point but Mary Trump just proved my point by proving Trump being a liar and a con man.

I do apologize for bursting your balloon and blowing you post to smithereens.

No. Some of us knew it was bull **** from the start. It wasn't hard at all to say so and nix your provocateurs in the House.

The impeachment was crap. Period. Full stop.

The butt holes preaching it and publicizing it are traitors and the idiots who swallowed the crap they deal are morons.

Closer to him than you by a mile, for sure. It does mean that it is guaranteed that she knows more about what kind of a con man and liar Trump is than you about preaching that he is not. Simply stated so that YOU can understand............her statement is more believable than yours.

Do you understand that you want to believe in a thing that has no basis in fact? I find this method of bias confirmation to be amazing. That you assert that you strive to maintain your bias is revealing.

Ol' Humbolt described your delusion driven bias confirmation and then your post goes on to prove that you suffer the warped perception issues he describes.

There were no balloons burst by your post. There was only bias exposed.

What you apparently perceive to be my "statement" is a question.

Is there a basis for us to believe that the author has the credibility that you assign her?

"No basement in fact"

Prove there is no basement in fact.

Mary Trump knows Donald Personally. Mueller stated clearly that they could find to proof of collusion but that he was NOT exonerated of it. Russian Oligarchs did stay at Trump Tower, did buy properties at inflated above market prices, the Bayrock Group was Russian backed, the Deutshe Bank does have Russian backing, so where are my statements not based on fact?

You really need to explain your statement for the validity of it.

So, the fact that Trump didn't meet the fellow who Mary claims took the SAT to get into the U of PA until after they were both students there doesn't cause you to question other assertions Mary claims. Most thinking people would, ya know.

Seriously?

You believe the spinning blatherings of a butthurt family member who didn't get the inheritance she thought she deserved?

Hell, I bet you believe everything Bolton said, too?

Credibility is something personal to each person. I am only assigning the credibility of her statement to the FACT that she knows more about Trump than you or I. Ichoose to believe she know and she stated clearly that "Trump has no principles". Have I stated anything more than that?

NO the McConnell and several other Senators took an oath to be impartial and already had their minds made up BEFORE it even got to the Senate
so if they never even had a Senate trial and even listened to ( even if it was BS ) the so called evidence the House put forward
So even IF it was all made up they did NOT UPHOLD the oath they took to be impartial and never even intended to
have a nice day

Actually, I believe them a lot more than you given that Mary knows Trump personally and Bolton worked with Trump. What has your association with Trump been? Why should I believe your interpretation of the events?

Your statement "most thinking people would " is correct but you have to remember you are talking to people who think Trump has never done anything wrong and never will ,
They are so dedicated to defending him no matter what proof people bring forward
they are in their own little world where no matter what Trump does it is OK with them and HAS to be something good
Have a nice day

Show me the proof of that! I have not seen that PROVEN to be untrue yet.

And by the way, who are you as to be believed in your statements given that Trump has been proven to lie and yet you still say he hasn't. You are supporting a liar but the dissing a person (Mary Trump) that has not yet been proven to be a liar. Isn't that called hypocrisy?

Seriously?

You believe the spinning blatherings of a butthurt family member who didn't get the inheritance she thought she deserved?

I like a lot of people would believe what Bolton says over a known liar,
Bolton isn't known for telling lie after lie like Trump is
your blind dedication to Trump is noted
