Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar called for the “dismantling” of the U.S. economy and political system Tuesday.
“As long as our economy and political systems prioritize profit without considering who is profiting, who is being shut out, we will perpetuate this inequality,” Omar said. “We cannot stop at criminal justice system. We must begin the work of dismantling the whole system of oppression wherever we find it.”-


To hell with these foreign Muslim enemies of America. Vote republican in 2020 and help drive these anti-American uncivilized democrats out of our country.

People with functioning brains would love to see our political system prioritized without profits. But that doesn't seem to include the OP.

The article makes it seem like she wants to destroy America. She's just saying that the prioritization of the extremely wealthy needs to stop. I think the disproportionate amount of hate and slander she gets is due to her religion.
 
There is no denying that things need to change. Nobody is calling to dismantle.

Well yes, capitalism is destroying America and usury is unlawful in Islam. Yes, the situation is America will only get worse.

But is it not racist to make a title like this? Does it matter what her skin colour is — can you at least prove she's wrong?

How can you prove what she said is true since no one has dismantled the economy or political system. One question I would have for her is she profiting from being in Congress? Is she better off now than before taking office? Maybe we should look at reducing her perks and salary. :mrgreen:

Is Ilhan Omar a muslim? Is she considered black? Is she a female member of Congress?

I can agree that the color of her skin or her religion has nothing to do with her statement about the US. The description remains true.

If the title is a racist statement then when people identify a LEO as "white" is that not also racists.

imo, the people in her District need to remove her from office. She is just feeding the fire, much like Trump does.

Thanks... I figured she meant that but wondered what you thought. I agree. The disproportionate wealth gap is ridiculous. One side of my family is ridiculously wealthy. I grew up on the outskirts of that going to country clubs and yacht clubs and summer vacations to cousins mansions... and I always thought to myself that they did nothing to actually deserve any of it. Most did not earn it either... they lived off the wealth that a relative that made on spark plugs or something for Henry Ford in at the beginning. I am not a Commie (;) but I agree that there needs to be a re-distribution or sorts. Additionally, many on that side of the family were disgusting racists, elitists, sexists and entitled assholes.

Omar is especially dangerous. She supports Sharia law which is indicative by the various headscarves she wears. That is not a fashion statement. In the Muslim world under Sharia law, a woman is not allowed to show her hair. Omar also hangs around Linda Sarsour who has advocated Sharia law for this country and has been seen in pictures with her.

Ilhan Omar is an al-Qaeda supporter herself with her ideology and beliefs. It comes out in what she says and who she supports. The problem with Ilhan Omar is that she believes that Islam is not a militaristic belief system. And yet within its system of beliefs, they are commanded to oust the infidel and secure all land for their god.
