When those politicians tell reporters that they support defunding the police, reporters should immediately ask them if they are giving up their police protection.

They don't because they are all political hacks not reporters (by the usual definition there of)

Because reform the police does not remove funds. Trump wants to defund the schools. He want to remove funds

The innocent citizens are the one's who will suffer. Useless city leaders demand their security though.

If “the people of that city” are incapable of civil behavior, as you say, how can there be any “innocent citizens”, as you also say?
