So I was visiting Amor and her family for the 4th of July, she lives in the infamous city of Compton, and so we drove to a local grocery Store and while we were buying food for the celebration (friendly hint, if you’re not Hispanic and start dating one you’ll realize what a feast truly is. They make massive amounts of food for special occasions but I digress) I noticed a black lady leaving with 4 bottles of A Jemima syrup. Here’s a picture I took of the shelf where the strips are the Aunt Jemima shelf, at a grocery store in Compton is empty.

Could it possibly be that maybe every leftist cause is not uniformly shared by the people they claim to be fighting for?

Moat so-called BLM protesters are white and many of those are spoiled brat white privileged college punks from the suburbs.

Dude, it is just like the lily white students at that university a few years ago that flipped out about Taco Tuesday Night and people wearing sombreros.

Most of this "outrage" is anarchists or snowflakes and most of those people are spoiled white kids with no life experience...

I was telling my girlfriend about the white ladies in Portland who got cancelled like 5 years ago because they travelled to Baja California and learned from Mexican women how to make tortillas and they came back and started a food cart selling burritos.

The woke mob shut them down (this was before Trump even ran for president)

She was shocked, in theyre a mixed people in Mexico and they’re very open to sharing their culture and customs and love it when other people apprciate it. She couldn’t fathom the idea that any actual Mexican would be offended that someone was selling tortillas

Isn't this the company's call? (Real maple syrup is better)

I worked in restaurants with lots of Mexican/Central Americans... they shared their food and recipes as well.

You obviously have fond memories of your Mammy and the pancakes she served you.

Seems to be a Corporate decision, time to update packaging. I don't get my panties in such a twist.

I will say the image is a stereo type, at least 150 years old. Corporate made the correct decision.

I was pleased HBO returned Gone With the Wind to its service. They made the correct decision. The film is a piece of art, and must be kept in the context of when the novel was written.

I think the only truly offensive thing about Aunt Jemimas is that a real Aunt Jemima would never use high fructose corn syrup

The problem with this argument though, is that Companies like this, are bowing to a cultural revolution based on lies. It seems to me, that there is an elite class of white leftist, and maybe a few minority activists in academia, To just brand something offensive, without ever asking if it truly is. Of course whatever corporate conglomerate owns the brand can change it for whatever reason they want, that’s not what I’m arguing. What I’m arguing is the outrage mob that compels these decisions.

Aunt Jemima sells more than double the next leading brand, so somebody must not be offended.

Black people who eat at McDonalds and Taco Bell are betraying their race.

Its not about the cause of the outrage, its the outrage itself and the usefulness as a wedge. Remember, the left wants power. They want power because they want other people's money.
