Trump indoctrinating of anger to his diciples in S. Dakota

“Angry mobs are trying to tear down statues of our founders ... and unleash a wave of violent crime in our cities,” he added.

Actually, when I think of "our founders", I think of men like George Washington and the men that sacrificed their lives to liberated colonists from England; forming the United States of America.

But, protesters are tearing down statues of men that wanted to dismantle the sacrifices of men like George Washington. Confederates that killed men and women of the United States of America.

Don't get me wrong, I know the Civil war was a very complicated issue. Confedarates sincerely believed in their cause. But, it doesn't change the fact that they took to violence.

I mean, would current Americans celebrate if a faction of Americans went to a military war against our nation. Military attacks over say: their wanting illegal immigrants to work for them, free passage through trump's wall for cheap wages.

The pro- illegal Generals lead a war that causes a large amount of deaths and injury to Americans.

Would we build statues of the above Generals?

Trump was referring to current protesters who, as part of a national uprising for racial justice, have defaced and removed Confederate monuments and symbols

Trump himself has been accused of destroying multiple national monuments including Utah’s Bears Ears, which is considered sacred by several Native American tribes

I have not heard of any statues of our Founders being torn down.

So WTF is crazy donald talking about? Is he duping his diciples that attended his S. Dakota folly?

I wrote about the Civil War and only pointed out the statues and war because trump has totally skewed the entire issue for his selfish political needs. An evil divisive man.

I have very mixed feelings about the civil war and statues. I believe the civil war was a complicated issue and the Confederate men and women sincerly believed and followed their cause.

The Union was not an inocent bystander. So, the violently tearing down statues, I believe is knee jerk and calm discussions and debate would be more prudent.

There are a few examples of uneducated criminals taking down, or threatening to take down, statues of the founders.

The radical right wing media and trump are doing there best to change the narrative from Confederate soldiers to violence against "all of our history".

Of course, this is to distract from their support of the traitors, racists, and losers who fought against the United States and lost.

Unfortunately, criminals made this an easy distraction.

Trump has no noted accomplishments during the past four years (besides golfing more than any other past president).

And he has presented no policy platform for what he would try to accomplish during a second term in office.

So he is running on a platform of divisiveness, specifically racial divisiveness. This is principally an appeal to his white nationalist base.

What's interesting, when militants wielding military style riffles to protest Michigan Governer,

I heard no talk of calling all Republican's militants wanting to take down their state Government

Creating violence and intimating behavior to destroy all our history of elected Governor's

Do you support the Confederates that incited violence against America during the Civil War?

Would you be willing to say: The Americans that still live and idolize the Confederate violence, KKK, White supremisy are not wanted in America.

To your first question. Yes, I support the position Confederates took at that time. In full disclosure, my Great-Great Grandfather fought in the 49th Tennessee Infantry Regiment. That fact I'm proud of.

As for your comment about no founding father statues being impacted. Look up what they did to Thomas Jeffersons statue in Portland

The speech of President of the United States of America Donald Trump sent me to one of my reference works. I found these worth sharing:

"Adherents can always be gained by attacking an opponent rather than his views. Such followers, it is noted, will be of inferior intellect, but they will serve."

"There are some people who can be fooled all of the time. These, when kept emotionally involved, form a sturdy base upon which to build a political career."

"There are some who define their worth by belittling others. 'Others' can be political, economic, ethnic, racial or religious groups. Politicians seeking votes can exploit these people for their own ends."

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Do consider this statue that was erected in Portland OR in 1900 to be a "Confederate statue"?

Well, guess what your noble protesters did to that statue the other night...

Whoops!! Sorry about that. I just blew your trash argument to smithereens.

Americans against our slavery history should honor debate and peaceful means with regards to the statues and their display

No, the Crux of my OP is Trump's divisive Rhetoric, with no sincere care in the world for his disciples, that he uses like pawns.

And no care for all Americans, just spoiled little Donald needs to win at all cost, with hate, in his narcacisstic ways.

I'm beginning to wonder, maybe I have been wrong about him being a liar.

Trump is delusional and probably actually believes his delusions and we all think he is purposefully lying.

I guess when one has a psychotic brain and unable to distinguish what is reality like Trump, he is telling it like it is
