Retarded New World

Political correctness and race obsession are running amok. The progressive narrative now has a strangle hold on our civilization.

How woke illiberalism is killing the academy - spiked

I have never been someone who is overly impressed with our patriarchal European civilization. I don't worship military power, and I never looked down at the less powerful societies. In fact, I was always interested in and admired American Indians and other indigenous people. I was fascinated by books on African and Australian tribal societies. I learned from anthropologists that as civilization "advanced," as much or more was lost than was gained.

I do not have a trace of white supremacy in me. And I am Jewish, which means I am more middle eastern than European. I even think most other races are better looking than whites.

No one who understands me at all would ever mistake me for a racist. But I am absolutely appalled by the social justice mania. These people think they are morally superior, they think they know all about good vs evil, they know all about what is right or wrong. They know all about human nature. It all boils down to their progressive narrative of increasing rights for oppressed minorities.

I don't want minorities, or women, to be oppressed. I am female and I'm glad I was allowed out of the kitchen, thanks to activists. Our society made a lot of progress along these lines, in freeing slaves and letting women vote, etc.

But this is not the only thing in life. It really isn't. You can't ignore all other aspects of life and human nature, and focus insanely on political correctness and micro aggressions and removing offensive statues and editing history, etc. But that is all that is happening now. Aside from the pandemic.

You will not stamp out hatred or unfairness. You really won't. Get rid of it in one place, it explodes in another. Smash it down here, you get a raving backlash over there.

There has been progress in civil rights, but there has been NO progress in making our species more loving and less hating. There will always be enough hate to balance love. Always.

There is so much intense hatred being expressed by the political "left." And it's worse than plain old normal hatred, because they are absolutely certain they are absolutely virtuous. The left has become a devouring raving monster.

The left "must" keep the racism issue alive and well, keep people seeing black and white, making sure the black man hates the white man. This is racism to its very core and they keep the black vote, their goal. Most of us have grown past this "racism" issue, have much respect and love for all people, no matter the color. Yes, there is bad in all races, but there is far, far greater good in all races. The left doesn't want us to know this and by keeping the masses angry with each other, they gain more political power...their goal.

I don't deny blacks any rights that I enjoy. Life is hard for almost everyone, and we all have our right to deal with it the best we know how. I very much RESENT the currently fashionable idea that because I am not black I was handed everything. And that I should now hand it all back. **** that.

Whether or not you resent it, the fact remains that as a white person, you are statistically better off than anyone else in your exact same position. Privilege doesn't mean you have everything handed to you, it means that you'll have an easier time of almost everything, compared to a person in a non-privileged demographic facing the same challenges.

Of course, it's no surprise that you would be unwilling to "hand it all back" - your choice of words indicates you understand that you have something to "hand back". But it's not about giving things up, so much as bringing everyone else up to the same level. If equality suddenly puts you at a disadvantage, well... Guess that kinda proves the concept of privilege, now, doesn't it.

These things never stop where you want them too.

The Radical Left will use and abuse political power, access to young minds through positions in education to indoctrinate and incite hatred.

They will use illegal immigration in conjunction with massive voter fraud.

They will use un-needed, un-justified, artificially incited racial division and hatred.

They will use false accusations and slander to disrupt appointments.

They will use violence, arson, assault, riot, looting, and even outright murder!

They can do all of this to Seize un-deserved political office and power!

But after coming to power in such a way.... they cannot GOVERN! .... Ever.

Which is why their whole Utopia will spin out of control, into a nightmare of widening failures...

And in the end, they will ALWAYS resort to political Purges!

You weren't handed everything and nobody expect you to hand it back so stop creating the persecutory strawmen. You had it better than they did because of your race and it is your moral obligation to help others who didn't enjoy those benefits of being white and to put an end to that race gap so the problem is propagated through the next generation. Why is that concept so difficult for you to understand? You claim to have a Ph.D. in psychology but you see to have a problem grasping even the most basic concepts.

I dont belive that you have a PhD and I doubt many others do either.

You can't make everyone equal. I did not have advantages. You don't know, no one knows, why some ethnic groups have been more successful, on average. And you are grouping everyone in a very stupid way, according to their ethnicity. Some blacks work very hard and try to succeed, and some don't, some whites work very hard and others don't.

Your obsession with race is shallow and stupid and won't make anything better for anyone.

I don't care what you believe. And I don't have a moral obligation to be obsessed with race. Do you think you have a moral obligation to be obsessed with age discrimination? I would like reparations for all the income I lost because of age bigotry. Don't you agree that would be fair?

lol...you think I'm creating these metrics out of my own head? I'm nobody. These metrics are well known and widely demonstrated, statistically, not anecdotally. It's not the numbers' fault that these disparities exist and can be demonstrated with math, when comparing the demographics we're discussing. The same conclusions are reached without even considering American history, let alone whatever "shallow and stupid" obsessions I may have....hehe... Sorry, but you're wrong again...or maybe you're just making some weird attempt to make it personal because you're upset. Regardless, what I feel or don't feel won't make the numbers change...and, unfortunately for you, neither will your feelings. This is a issue at the macro level, and the numbers show what they show.

Of course, I find it utterly unsurprising that you're willing to throw your hands up and bemoan the fact that "you can't make everyone equal", when you are clearly on the more "equal" end of the demographic spectrum. That's kind of always been the problem.

I am not obsessed with race, despite your attempt to create a strawman as a way to deflect attention from your racist views.

What are example of the age bigotry, especially when discrimination based on age is prohibited? Did you file a claim?

The Age Discrimination Act of 1975 prohibits discrimination on the basis of age in programs and activities receiving federal financial assistance. The Act, which applies to all ages, permits the use of certain age distinctions and factors other than age that meet the Act's requirements. The Age Discrimination Act is enforced by the Civil Rights Center.

The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA) protects certain applicants and employees 40 years of age and older from discrimination on the basis of age in hiring, promotion, discharge, compensation, or terms, conditions or privileges of employment. The ADEA is enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Section 188 of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) prohibits discrimination against applicants, employees and participants in WIA Title I-financially assisted programs and activities, and programs that are part of the One-Stop system, on the ground of age. In addition, WIA prohibits discrimination on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, political affiliation or belief, and for beneficiaries only, citizenship or participation in a WIA Title I-financially assisted program or activity. Section 188 of WIA is enforced by the Civil Rights Center.

I know that on average some ethnic groups are less successful. But no one knows why. You don't know why. You think it's the "white man's burden" to fix the problem. I don't. Let people alone to fix their own problems.

Making laws to prevent bigotry is stupid. You can't prove it unless you have a recording of an employer saying "I hate you because you are old."

What causes age discrimination is progressives like you. You try so hard not to hate anyone because of their ethnicity, so your hatred has to go somewhere. It goes to Republicans, old white men, whites in general, and old people in general.

I don't bemoan the fact that you can't make everyone equal. It's a stupid idea.

The fact that people can't be treated equally, given equal opportunity, those ideas are not stupid - though for someone like you, I see how it would be convenient.

I know that on average some ethnic groups are less successful. But no one knows why. You don't know why. You think it's the "white man's burden" to fix the problem. I don't. Let people alone to fix their own problems.

Actually, the why is pretty well known. The only people who don't get it are those who benefit from not getting it - the whole "ignorance is bliss" thing...though it would be more accurate to say ignorance maintains privilege. In fact, what lead to these disparities is quite well understood, and well documented.

How do progressives cause age discrimination?

Are you saying that you support repealing the 14th Amendment and the Civil Rights Act, plus most of the Bill of Rights that mandates equal treatment and protections and instead permit mob rule by the majority when white people will soon lose our majority status?

I don't hate anyone. I do oppose those who want to codify and defend policies that treat others as less than equal. Can we turn those policies 180° and codify policies that allow them to treat you as less than equal in matters of the law. employment and public accommodations, or would you have a problem with that? Would you oppose being a second class citizen who lacks many rights that others enjoy?
