No way in hell I would ever support a Party that claims to be the Party of Reagan. Reagan was one of the biggest disasters to ever happen to this country.

I'm voting for Biden. Only because I want to punish the Republicans for their descent into madness.. but this should be concerning to anyone on the left. Is that what you want? Who did you vote for in 2000? 2004? Bush? For christ's sake.

I can't speak for them, but I know I'm not voting for Biden because I agree with him on issues. I'm voting for him because the alternative is Trump.

I don't understand why you're upset about what these people are doing. I'm doing the same thing. I'm still not a liberal and likely will never be. I'm a moderate. Biden is a better choice. Trump is a terrible choice.

These people probably feel as I do - that the GOP needs to die and then rebuild itself back to the party of Eisenhower. That won't happen as long as Trump is around.

It's what so many of the citizens of Trump Fan Nation claimed caused them to vote for Trump - "he isn't Hillary".

Of course, 3 years later those people are acting like Trump is the second coming of Christ.

Well tres, from my point of view the Republican Party is rebuilding itself: they are called the Democratic Party. The Republicans are now more in line with the extremist parties of Europe like the Brexit Party or the DUP. They are all in on nationalism and white identity. The Democrats hold mostly the same economic beliefs in capitalism that the Republicans hold, but they aren't so much white identity politics focused. So, they have become basically what moderate Republicans used to be, and the Republicans have become extremists.

For someone who believes in something like nationalizing the oil industry (probably my most far left political position) then even the farthest left position of Joe Biden is bupkiss to me. The last thing I want to see is Bush era Republicans finding nesting ground within the Democratic Party. Because we irretrievably disagree on economics. We oppose each other on ideological grounds. I would like to support people who believe in the things that I do. More than just believing that Trump is an abomination and an embarrassment.

I'm also not naive enough to think that the money that PACs give to Biden doesn't come with strings attached. Not that they have to coerce Biden to do much different anyway since he's basically a moderate, corporate approved Republican.

Most have no clue what Reaganomics is. They think it is tax cuts for the rich. In fact it is the ACRS and that was used by the modest investors up to the top echelon.

Trickle down economics is a farce. Just ask Kansas. That's besides the point. The point is the Democrats are becoming Reagan Republicans, not that Reagan was or wasn't bad for the country. (He was bad for the country.)
