Wow! Duckworth blocks all military promotions until Esper states in writing he won’t interfere with

So it's wrong for Trump to prevent a promotion, but it's OK for Duckworth to do it? Hypocrite.

You have yet to explain what you think Vindman did wrong. You are following the cult leader's disdain for him and you can't even explain why.

I don’t “have” to do anything for you. My disdain is for you Ds.

Nope. You don't. But you must follow the cult leader and never ask any questions why.

I've given up on the cult. There is no communicating with them. Unfortunately a mask won't stop the spread of that virus. Deplorable-itis is mentally fatal.

Tammy Duckworth, US Senator on the Armed Services Committee, has just held up all promotions until Esper stops blocking Vindman’s promotion to Colonel.

I bet Susan Collins is amazed that US Senators have so much power to do things.

From various reports twitter feeds:

“Wow -- Duckworth says she will block Senate approvals of **1,123** senior U.S. Armed Forces promotions until Esper "confirms in writing that he did not, or will not, block the expected and deserved promotion of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman to Colonel."

“Senator Tammy Duckworth is blocking a vote on hundreds of military promotions until Defense Secretary Mark Esper confirms that he won't retaliate against Alexander Vindman for testifying at Trump's impeachment hearings, @IsaacDovere reports.”

This Nation has run its course as is, we either learn to work together or we get a Divorce

He violated the chain of command. He's a piece of ****.

How did he violate the chain of command? Didn't his chain of command know he was going to be testifying under oath? Did his superior officer order him not to testify and he did anyways? Explain yourself....do you even know about military chains of command?

I'm sure you've also noticed how smallvoice keeps crapping on Vindman but has yet to tell you want he did wrong. Because the truth is that what he did wrong is the cult leader told the cult not to like him... no questions asked. And they do... no questions asked.

He seems to not get that's why I keep pointing out he's in a cult................so well groomed he can no longer see it.

You don't know about the military, do you? No promotions are being prevented by Sen. Duckworth...the promotion list exists. It's not going away, it's just being held up. No one gets their promotion date for months anyways.

So...you are all in for your orange cult leader.....but like a typical cultist, you cannot explain why.....not surprising.

She is holding up all promotions you gloat?

Holding them up....not eliminating them......and trump is threatening to veto the military spending bill which includes this year's military pay raises......what do you think about that?

Vindeman should be swinging from a gallows, not promoted to Colonel.

As expected, Sen. Duckworth once again demonstrates the massive stupidity of Democrats and their hatred towards the military.

Only Congress has the power to create and promote military officers, not Secretaries of Defense. There is absolutely nothing the Secretary of Defense can do to prohibit or advance anyone's promotion, other than making a recommendation. All the power resides with Congress.

This is merely a stunt by Sen. Duckworth. Just another leftist Democrat scumbag causing harm to all those who deserve to be promoted in order to try to score some political points.

Wrong and wrong. Congress only approves or not the recommendations and then the president either signs or not. I think you have congress confused with the pentagon.

And why is that? Tell us what capital crime he committed......or are you just into lynching people who threaten the reign of your cult leader?

Treason.

Sure.

Funny how you guys always want to lock people up or hang them without investigations or trials.

You’re a ‘real American’. [emoji849]

Where did I say he shouldn't get a trial?

"when it was my turn to be the platoon leader--that's how it's supposed to be" "Our military is supposed to be the ultimate meritocracy"

Does the senator not realize that these statements contradict each other?

(Obviously this is a rhetorical question, it would never occur to a leftist to be concerned with logical coherence)

In Basic Training, acting as Platoon Leader is a form of training. Every recruit does it.

How did he commit treason? It's a serious crime, only one mentioned directly in the Constitution. So tell us, what treason did Lt. Col Vindman commit by testifying under oath to a Congressional committee?
