Because no one, including Trump or Hillary Clinton thought that Donald Trump would actually win the presidential election. So I believe the Russian motive was to weaken Hillary Clinton.

I figure that is more due to his oppositional defiant disorder personality trait than due to any conscious decision on President Trumps part.

You're wrong on that too. Democrats have offered to work with trump on any number of issues, if he'll be reasonable, such as infrastructure. He refuses.

I don't think he cares at this point. Now if Trump were to interfere in their government process I know for sure Putin will not let it slide and do whatever he can to get even. Putin is not going to let us interfere in the Russian government and then just sit back and do nothing. You slap Putin you better get ready to get hit back as Hillary learned the hard way. She wasn't up to challenge of playing in the big leagues anyway.

Putin will take advantage of any weakness as Hillary found out. He has never stopped hacking information just like our CIA and intelligence gathering networks. Every country in the world is buying information that is being hacked by millions of people who do nothing else for a living. If you leave your front door wide open when you go to work every day someone will steal your stuff. I have no concern about Putin hacking into the elections where I work the polls. I am the machine operator. Our only problem is all the people not smart enough to fill out a simple multiple choice ballot like I learned how to do in grade school.

My god he did not mess with the actual ballots. Putin will use social media to manipulate lies to let trump win again.

Well I personally don't care what Putin has to say. He can't be any more bias than our media.

Hell half the democrats in my area need help figuring out how to vote straight party anyway. They are clueless who is actually running. I made the mistake one time and told the voter that some of the candidates are running under both parties. The guy was adamant he would not vote for a republican but he wanted to vote straight party. Then he started the argument that the candidate cannot run under both parties. I thought we were going to need a mediator. Luckily my coworker finally told him the person was a democrat trying to fool the republicans by running under their party as well.

The sad fact is I my live long enough to end up in the same boat. Scary and sad.

What I care about is what trump thinks. And he thinks he needs to cater to putin so that putin will help him win. It is treason at the highest level
