GW officials to back Biden

STATEMENT BY
PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH

Laura and I are anguished by the brutal suffocation of George Floyd and disturbed by the injustice
and fear that suffocate our country. Yet we have resisted the urge to speak out, because this is not
the time for us to lecture. It is time for us to listen. It is time for America to examine our tragic failures
– and as we do, we will also see some of our redeeming strengths.

It remains a shocking failure that many African Americans, especially young African American men,
are harassed and threatened in their own country. It is a strength when protesters, protected by
responsible law enforcement, march for a better future. This tragedy — in a long series of similar
tragedies — raises a long overdue question: How do we end systemic racism in our society? The
only way to see ourselves in a true light is to listen to the voices of so many who are hurting and
grieving. Those who set out to silence those voices do not understand the meaning of America — or
how it becomes a better place.

America’s greatest challenge has long been to unite people of very different backgrounds into a
single nation of justice and opportunity. The doctrine and habits of racial superiority, which once
nearly split our country, still threaten our Union. The answers to American problems are found by
living up to American ideals — to the fundamental truth that all human beings are created equal and
endowed by God with certain rights. We have often underestimated how radical that quest really is,
and how our cherished principles challenge systems of intended or assumed injustice. The heroes of
America — from Frederick Douglass, to Harriet Tubman, to Abraham Lincoln, to Martin Luther King,
Jr. — are heroes of unity. Their calling has never been for the fainthearted. They often revealed the
nation’s disturbing bigotry and exploitation — stains on our character sometimes difficult for the
American majority to examine. We can only see the reality of America's need by seeing it through
the eyes of the threatened, oppressed, and disenfranchised.

That is exactly where we now stand. Many doubt the justice of our country, and with good reason.
Black people see the repeated violation of their rights without an urgent and adequate response from
American institutions. We know that lasting justice will only come by peaceful means. Looting is not
liberation, and destruction is not progress. But we also know that lasting peace in our communities
requires truly equal justice. The rule of law ultimately depends on the fairness and legitimacy of the
legal system. And achieving justice for all is the duty of all.

This will require a consistent, courageous, and creative effort. We serve our neighbors best when we
try to understand their experience. We love our neighbors as ourselves when we treat them as
equals, in both protection and compassion. There is a better way — the way of empathy, and shared
commitment, and bold action, and a peace rooted in justice. I am confident that together, Americans
will choose the better way.

Now there's a real president. He makes Trump look like a turd.

If elite Republican scumbags don't want Trump because he's ****ing up their coordination and plans I'm inclined to not care if he's elected again. They're far more dangerous than Trump is. Trump is like a human hand grenade, a big middle finger from an electorate that doesn't give a **** anymore. Let it burn.
This is why its vital for conservatives to primary out all the progressive Republicans.

I suppose you didn't see the video where John Kassick told Chris Quomo that Mccain was executed on CNN. the media can't report military actions like executions.

What the hell are you talking about?

I'm also awaiting trail, but I've just been too busy with work to schedule the hiking trip.

I guess Trump is Winning! His campaign team will have a hard time spinning this one. Curious to see how Fox pundits respond.

Exclusive: Hundreds of George W. Bush administration officials to back Biden, group says

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Hundreds of officials who worked for former Republican President George W. Bush are set to endorse Democratic White House hopeful Joe Biden, people involved in the effort said, the latest Republican-led group coming out to oppose the re-election of Donald Trump.

The officials, who include Cabinet secretaries and other senior people in the Bush administration, have formed a political action committee - 43 Alumni for Biden - to support the former vice president in his Nov. 3 race, three organizers of the group told Reuters. Bush was the country's 43rd president.

The Super PAC will launch on Wednesday with a website and Facebook page, they said. It plans to release "testimonial videos" praising Biden from high-profile Republicans and will hold get-out-the-vote efforts in the most competitive states.

The group is the latest of a number of Republican organizations opposing Trump's re-election, yet another sign that he has alienated some in his own party, most recently with his response to the coronavirus pandemic and nationwide protests over racial injustice and police brutality against Black Americans.

Haven't read anything but the OP in this thread yet and I'm betting there are going to be many QAnon-like "DEEP STATE" shrieking coming up soon!

Spin? It doesn't need to be spun. They'll just claim that Bush and his officials are actually Obama deep state plants.

It doesn't have to make sense. In fact, it's better if it is the most hilariously stupid lie possible, because that has the greatest chance of possibly annoying a liberal somewhere.

They're all RINOs, too! Everyone who doesn't worship at the Temple of Trump is a RINO! And a communist! And a Marxist!

GW bush will be executed like his father was he has plead guilty and is awaiting sentencing from military tribunal, like John Mccain and HWbush . Jeb is running scared and you will not be hearing anything out of him, Biden has also been indicted by military tribunal at Bush funeral and is awaiting trail. I guess this why Bush hates Trump so bad his dad was convicted of violating the ricoh act and child trafficking Mccain was convicted of selling arms to alquida and child trafficking. camp 7 Gitmo. Wow, that's some serious posting of utter garbage. And I don't even like W.

Anyone want to help me out and translate this for me?

The quality of trolling has gone way downhill in recent months.

Please tell me Stormfront will be back in business soon. My IQ drops 15 points every time I read his posts.

Probably so, especially since they're having a positive impact with their message.

GOP candidates who embrace far-right QAnon conspiracy theory score primary wins

A candidate who has expressed enthusiasm for QAnon knocked off a Trump-endorsed Republican incumbent in Colorado’s House primary Tuesday night, becoming the latest in a string of victorious GOP candidates who have embraced the conspiracy theory.

Bar owner and gun rights activist Lauren Boebert, 33, defeated five-time incumbent Rep. Scott Tipton in Colorado’s Third Congressional District, which encompasses the mostly rural western half of the state. Boebert ran to Tipton’s right, saying he wasn’t supportive enough of President Trump.

Why even hold the election in November? It's a waste of time and money. Let's just all agree that Trump is out and Joe Biden is president.

As opposed to knowing he's down in the polls and trump attacking the election process even before the votes are counted like he did in 2016 and like he's doing now?

"I'll take 'neither', Alex for a thousand".

GW bush is still gonna be sentenced! after the tribunals are over he may can contribute some testimony but he can't talk after he is executed.

Oh come on. John Kassick (whoever that is) told Chris Quomo (whoever that is) that John McCain was executed on CNN! I'm rather surprised that execution that happened on air on CNN was only shared with the people at Stormfront.

I suppose you didn't see the video where John Kassick told Chris Quomo that Mccain was executed on CNN. the media can't report military actions like executions.

Wow, that is some scary ****. Qanon has gone mainstream. I'm hoping the trend continues and that Republicans continue to be unseated in all levels of legislature overall.

The first thing we need to do is to get money out of our politics.

Wow, that is some scary ****. I think Biden should start marketing blue hats with the embroidery, "Make America Great Again - Really! We Mean it This Time!"

Biden should say, "America, do you feel Great?"

Tentacles of the Trump campaign allege that this is just more proof that “the swamp” is out to get Trump.

Which, you know, the people that Trump considers are “the swamp” are public servants. So, yeah...

We shouldn’t be joking so readily. We have two QAnons that are actual Republican nominee for the United States Congress.

I’ll politely dissent. If the PACS were effective, we wouldn’t be dealing with Trump or QAnon nominees.

Elite status quo Republicans have always opposed Trump even if they didn't say it at times. Trump isn't somebody that can be controlled. He's too arrogant and self-interested. That's not the kind of person they want in office. They want obedient partisan stooges.

That doesnt explain why they want a Democrat in office. Trump is still more or less pushing their agenda. Can you explain? It cant all be about their (Rep officials) egos.

This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa
