All the people at the top of the Republicans (above the people in office, the donors) care about is plutocracy. They'd give the country anything else they want in exchange. Since they want the dog whistle bigotry, they get that. The only thing they can't have is money or power. When those are at stake, they fight against healthcare even to save Republican voter lives, to get more money. But bigotry, no problem. Religious pandering, no problem. Guns, no problem.

That is incorrect. BLM actually does address Black Americans killing Black Americans. The underlying issue is that people within those communities do not trust police due to the fact that police kill Black Americans at a proportionately higher rate. The result is that the communities attempt to police themselves, leading to violent crimes against each other. You can make the valid argument that Black Americans tend to be caught in more violent crimes, leading to more police encounters, but that ignores why the violent crimes exist in the first place.

There is a self fulfilling, vicious cycle that exists within our society because of the way our system is structured. BLM is working to change that structure to remove the cycle, but it will not happen overnight.

I was looking for an actual study when I received news that a close family friend suffered traumatic head injuries from a man she ended a relationship with, and she is not expected to survive. I posted what I was able to find.

Let the crime stats speak for themselves. Crime is already spiking in blue city hell holes. Remove the cops and watch the violence. Some communities are incapable of living peacefully.
