Trump 2020? Tell us why.

You ask a fair question that everyone should ask both candidates. How you're asking it is unfair, which I will breakdown point by point, below.

His response has not been poor. His administration has increased the amount of ventalators we have. They have produced in mass PPEs. They have developed millions of a variety of tests. Argue that we need more of any of those things ir even all of them if you like but calling his response poor is just partisan nonsense.

I will give you this one. Trump oversold and under delivered. I get why he tried to downplay it to avoid a panic spreading but he should of hedged his words better. This same thing is going to get him into a political jam with him claiming we will have a vaccine this year. Chances are very slim that is gonna happen but he doubles down on it. His optimism is his worst enemy at times.
His response and many republican responses, we need to do more to open america. Why not just hand out death sentences?

This is a basic ideological difference between the two parties. Democrats and republicans value economic health differently. Its pure demagoguery to characterize that difference as death sentences.

None of those things csn be done without congressional support. All those things are achievable if Congress had the will to do it. Trump has not been the impedimate on those things and its unfair to lay it at his feet when he has been making good faith efforts.

If the election were today I would vote for Trump based on his vision for the future and Bidens. I perfer Trump but I would not be as bold as to predict who is gonna win in November. Thats a fools errand. I happen to think its gonna be a very tight race even though Trump should win by a landslide.
Based on the math I think the dems do have a good chance of regaining control of the Senate and its also possible the gop takes control of the house.

Trump is an incompetent who's bad for the country.

John Bolton was Trumps National Security Advisor for over a year and General James Mattis was Trump's Secretary of Defense for over two years. Both have seen Trump in action and both say Trump isn't fit to be president.

You republicans should've found a sensible candidate back in 2016, not the human joke that we have in office now. Then would could seriously discuss four more years of a republican in office.

I won't vote for Trump, but I do see him as the lesser of two evils given all the insane carrying on being done by the Democrats.

Democrat mobs are torching, looting and destroying businesses and properties in nearly every state and democrat governors are continually shutting down the economies in their states while futilely attempting to stop people from dying from the flu and you wonder why anyone would vote for Trump? And what a great and wonderful job Trump was doing prior the pandemic, then the left found a good excuse to disrupt his economy. It will rebound big time, especially if we vote those loser democrats out of office, regain the House, keep the Senate. To begin with, Nancy Pelosi is NOT THE PRESIDENT. The White House had SEVEN briefings on Coronavirus in January alone. Trump told everyone not to worry. Pelosi and DeBlasio did not get briefings or advice from the CDC. They weren't included in the briefings Trump had in January. On February 24th, Nancy Pelosi visited Chinatown, this is correct. She also told people not to be afraid to visit Chinatown, this is also correct. Every politician, Pelosi, DeBlasio, Cuomo, any of them, were all working appropriately with the information available at the time, which was little to none!

From February to this very day, Trump is still not wearing a mask in public or suggesting to anyone that wearing a mask will help prevent the spread of this virus. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? From Trump to the CDC, political and institutional failures, the failures of FEMA and adequate testing has cascaded through the system and all the opportunities to mitigate the pandemic before it was too late were wasted.

To compound the already lethal damage Trump did by not taking a strong lead and do what a real leader is supposed to do, he actually did even more harm by telling people like you that there would be 15 cases then none, or that it would disappear in the Spring or when the hot weather came. All lies and those lies hurt people because people like you believed those lies and were careless and because people were careless more people were infected and some died. And it's still rolling through several states at epic proportions, those are the states that didn't pay attention to the scientists or those experience medical professionals that have been dealing with this pandemic since March.
