In a normal world the headline in the thread title would be from the Onion. But, in this world, declaring war on those protesting monuments to the defenders of slave holders and owners is a rallying cry for someone sinking in the polls.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., took a page out of President Donald Trump's book and declared "war" on Confederate statue protesters as his poll numbers trend downward.

Graham argued that individuals calling to remove Confederate statues representing slave-holders who went to war against the U.S. were the ones who "hate our country."

"We're at war with them politically," he declared Friday on "Fox & Friends."

It sure looks like some GOP politicians are flailing around, trying to find an issue that will rally support, while their poll numbers continue to sink.

He will loose this November to a BLACK candidate. It will be close, but he's gone. The senate will also loose and the world will start to heal.

Confronting all of the self loathing America haters is the obvious mission that would be supported.....the problem is that the GOP is full of cowards.... has been for decades.
 
As a former USAF Judge Advocate with a Juris Doctor degree, Senator/Colonel (Ret.) Lindsey Graham certainly knows the definition of Treason as delineated in the US Constitution.

That he wishes to align himself with slave-holders involved with Treason is sad. Apparently, Graham feels that his Senate seat is worth the dishonor of protecting monuments to Confederate criminals.

The white nationalist moto is that they can use cartoonish depictions of blacks and natives to sell football jersies and syrup. They can target people of specific religions and nationalities on their crusades to end ideologies. They can use any slur whenever they feel they arent being racist. However, if you take down the statues of verified racists, then, well, that's just problematic isnt it?

If you want to learn about slave holders, you dont need statues to glorify them. Cant wait till Lindsay is gone.

The people pulling down statues have no values. Destruction and chaos are their guideposts and they need to be squashed. If statues are to come down, they need to do so in an orderly and lawful manner, not as the result of a mutinous, anarchist mob.

Again, you can't read. It's the method or in this case, lack of method that is the problem. Your support for mob rule is noted. Last I checked, Washington, Jefferson, Columbus and Lincoln were not Confederates.
