Despite the inherent cowardice of just walking up behind someone and sucker punching them. I do think that this little jackass needs to be sent somewhere.

A penitentiary sounds just fine by me.

Because if they can't find any plausible cause for him in actually assaulting that man. Then he could be charged with intent, seeing as others have died from such attacks in the past.

perhaps someone needs to start a goose step exercise club to keep some individuals busy. however, that entity must make it exceptionally clear that it will not be held responsible for the resulting hernias.

Young men who played the "knock out" game in the early 2000s, got much the same treatment. Especially when their target fell and the resulting head injuring lead to their deaths.

It's the whole, play stupid games, win stupid prizes mentality.

Which from the looks of things. He's still hiding, unless something new gets released.

When their targets injuries lead to death being the key distinction there. This wasn't a couple of guys playing the "knock out" game, they claim the man called them the N-word and that's when one of them proceeded to beat his ass. Now it probably shouldn't be legal to beat someone's ass for calling you the N-word but I'm not going to admonish anyone who does. I'm also not going to complain to much when they get a couple months for assault. :shrug:

Thats typically the case in a he said/he said type of situation. Or do you know of some way to recreate conversations that already happened and we have no recordings of?

Which doesn't really mean much. I'm not really sure what you're arguing here. That the guy definitely didn't call them the N-word? You don't know that any more than I do. So really it just comes down to who you believe. You're free to believe they beat his ass for no reason and I'm free to believe they had decent if not legal cause to. Oh well. :shrug:

I think the best way to go about this, is for the authorities to pull up his phone records.

He was literally taking a call right when he supposedly made the statement.

Even if the man did call him the "n-word" that is NOT a crime anyway. So there is no excuse for this kind of criminal behavior anyway. Just proves that people need to learn how to fight back and protect themselves. Cowering on the ground will not save you when a savage like this animal attacks you. You need to put HIM in the hospital or worse.

Prison is too good for these thugs.

What do you mean probably not legal? So you are excusing this behavior on the assumption that somebody may have allegedly called someone a name? You see it is attitudes of people like you which encourage young thugs like this act out like children.

The n-word is not very polite language but it is not a crime. Some Black people use the word just about every other sentence. If the word offended a white person when he heard a Black person saying it, would you be so cavalier if the white person beat the Black guy for saying the "n-word"? Some people want equality, well that would be one way I suppose to make thing equal.

Stop making excuses for criminals.

Sure go ahead and shrug. And it wasn't assault it was battery--- aggravated battery. Minimum is usually 18 month if the injuries are slight or none. If injuries are more then up to 10 years---- out in 4 1/2 with good behavior.

Or better still people get their concealed carry permit and then save the tax payers the cost of a trial if it comes down to self defense from an attack likely to cause great bodily harm which this was. One less worthless thug who will never be good for anything anyway.

Well, like I said. If some people call each other than word all the time then clearly it isn't a word that is off limits is it? Not suggesting anyone call anyone that word, but it's just a word. To hear you explain how it works to trigger criminal thugs, I would be worried that someone might say the word under their breath to get a reaction, and then when the fool takes the bait and attacks, then the one who set the trap springs a surprise on the thug. After all Michigan is a concealed carry state.

Unfortunately, the history of the word "Thug" pretty much coincides with how this man was acting.

It's also unfortunate that the man could not properly defend himself after the altercation began. It's most likely that he didn't have to grow up with too much hardship in his life, or ever through it would be necessary to defend himself from such incivility/violence.

Though I doubt he's going to stay much like that after this. This is the kind of action that causes someone to go out and either arm themselves, or look to some other form prepping for self defense.
