A big difference in society is, the things black people want, they don't want to deny those things to whites, they want everyone to be able to have the life and means to live and enjoy what their labors can gain them. Too many white people (especially from the baby boomer era and their first generational offspring's) resent seeing blacks have the same things they have. I'm as happy to see black people get the things they want as well as seeing white people get the things they want. It means "everyone" should be paid a living wage for their labors, no bias in pay, no bias in credit, no bias in interest rates, no bias in opportunity.
I had bought two Porsche's, a Benz and BMW... and the white men at work, who had Big Trucks, SUV, Jet Ski's, Boat's ... continued to ask me, "how did I get it"... I told, them I got it the same way their got the stuff they have, "I bought it" !!! They imply and said, that I must be doing something Illegal; when I told them, I'm not assuming you as doing anything Illegal to get what you have, why would you adopt an attitude to assume that I am. One after the next kept asking the same dumb ass questions, That's how Race Ignorance by some white people works... They want to think they are the only ones who should have what they want.
Some of these same guys, I supervised.... at various points. It's the damn'est thing of race bigoted ignorance ever, and the saddest part is, they said it without even being aware of their racist bias... they just utter the **** they were taught.
It's the same way many right wing minded whites think today, when they see young black me, customize his vehicle, they want to assume the worst, yet, white men can customize their vehicles and they are assumed to be doing well without implication they are doing anything illicit or illegal.
It's not different in Jobs... I went to meet the CEO of the Company, and he came out of a Board Meeting to meet with me, and the white guy who was to process my paper work, said: I've never seen _____ come out a a board meeting for anyone!!! and continued to ask me crazy questions. I submitted "Business Ideas" directly to the CEO, and this same butt head, then tried to get me to submit them "through him"... I asked him, "why would I do that", when the CEO connects me directly with the Senior Executives to facilitate the programs I presented and designed.
So, I gave him an Idea, and he tried to submit it... the senior executives sent it back to him and basically said, why was he interfering with their work when it was unrelated to his department. What he missed, was the fact that "I built those relationships", I did not just bombard them with anything, I resolved system wide problems domestically and internationally, so they knew I knew the areas that I was addressing.
I've had some white men flat out "steal ideas" and push them as if they created it. I let it slide, because it did not matter, it only mattered that the idea was put to action for the advances of the company. Later when it was time to modify it for phase two... he did not have a clue. I eventually, submitted the second phase to ensure the program advanced as it was originally designed to do, and it made Lots of money for the company.
Instead of him "stealing the idea"... he could have better benefitted himself by simply working in concert with me, and he would not have made an ass of himself when he could not address the phase two processes.
The young people today are much different, they "collaborate" , as Justin Bieber said... he has to give much thanks to the black musicians that helped make his music career with what he learned from them and the help they gave him. That's why we see today, in the BLM many young white people standing side by side with black people and standing for the same changes to society, and its happening 'All Over The World".
People are tired of the old system of white nationalist agenda and its white nationalist imperialist ideals. People don't want that bull**** ,, they see the damages it has done to society and the world.
