Eco wants to be able to call anyone and everyone racist without taking any responsibility for diluting the term by over use. Doesn’t work that way.

White people are not to blame. But the white cop who has a prejudice towards blacks, is to blame.
Again, you conservatives are the only one's who think it's on all white people. I am not sure why you are all feeling so guilty. There's no reason too.

Yes, FDR became black Americans favored POTUS, due to many of his actions. FDR could not go far enough, and had to compromise with racist southern Democrats to get many of the programs passed.

The New Deal did help everybody, but proportionally, it helped white people more. Institutional white privilege.

We are still trying to correct that. It would help tremendously if more people acknowledged it's existence.

Anyone who believes in white privilege doesn’t understand basic economics. People are greedy. There isn’t a secret group of whites handing out money and success to just white people. That isn’t how businesses succeed. They hire chinese, Indians, anyone who will give them a competitive advantage. If there was a reason to hire black people they would. All most companies care about is making more and spending less. It’s simple greed. Nobody has a soft spot for white people. They will put up with hell if it means making more money.
