Good to hear how some are thinking. Especially refreshing to hear some honest Republicans express their thoughts.

“The people living the economic reality of what’s soon to be a recession, it’s a very different set of numbers,” Lund said. “It’s almost, in a sense, disrespectful to try and put a positive spin on where we are as a nation right now.
"

"Just 21% of voters believe the United States is on the right track, Monmouth University found in a poll released this week that marked a seven-year low."

“He’s the incumbent this time. He’s the one with the record. He’s the one being judged here," Conway said in an interview. "Four years ago that wasn’t the case. And people could project on him characteristics that he didn’t have, precisely because he didn’t have a record. Now, we know who he is. He can’t escape that. And he’s going to get worse as he gets more and more desperate."

"Many current Republican officeholders declined to defend Trump's actions this week, preferring to say nothing at all."

"Former South Carolina Rep. Mark Sanford, who ran a short-lived Republican primary campaign against the president, said Trump's willingness to ignore constitutional safeguards “is a threat to our way of life.”"

"The degree to which he doesn’t seem to get, like or care for limits on power I think is disturbing," Sanford said."

Joe has the benefit of hiding in his basement. Out on the campaign trail, if the virus doesn't get him, his faux pas's will.

So we're mostly going to be stuck with opinion pieces and overtly ignoring just what is exactly happening today?

I mean the AP can give whatever opinion it wants, or cherry pick whatever poll it likes and refuse to give out the polling data for all I care. I don't see what it is that they're attempting to say here.

It's fine if they want to basically blame Trump for everyone. I mean it wont win them anything in the end, but it's their choice nonetheless.

Everybody sees the desperation. It's about as ugly as I've ever seen in a man of power.

Faux Pas Joe is kicking the screaming carrot's ass, from his basement. Lol. Hydroxyclorox queen, anyone? LMAO

Trump is in deep doo-doo. That's what they're saying. Pretty obvious

Yes, the man who wants to keep his citizens from being burned out of their homes, or killed. Is in deep doo-doo, as compared to he people who're more willingly going to defend said looters, or are outwards apathetic to their own people's suffering...

That doesn't really look like an issue for Trump, if one were to ask me.

If Biden ends up beating this idiot despite spending months in his basement...I guarantee you the majority of the Trump supporters on this forum will just flat out disappear for months.

Not among his base, no. The base isn't large enough to win. The people in the OP are Republicans. It's always noteworthy when a president is criticized by members of his own party. The criticisms from the right are piling up, so, looks like doo-doo to me. This can change come November, but Trump appears to be getting worse. That's the desperation people see.

Nobody is ignoring the thundering failure Donald Trump has been as a president. It is no surprise to many of us who knew exactly what the minority president would mean for America. If this is what Republicanism stands for then you can keep it.

The first thing any of us think of with Deutsche Donald is ‘Old Glory’.

Do you actually have a point, other then just your opinion?
Because the same people who've tried to display Trump as some form of "thundering failure" have only had much the same as yourself. Namely just an opinion.

But if you want to consider the man who want's to keep American cities from burning and it's innocent citizens from being killed, as a failure. Then it makes me question your lack of morality, especially on the case of what's transpired over the last week.

Because it looks like the democrats are the one's who're fully in favor of all of that happening to their people.

I contradicted your ridiculous remark that people are "ignoring just what is exactly happening today". You would have to be living on a Pacific atoll not to know what Donald Trump has done to American institutions and values.

What desperation?

The photo-op. His creepy use of a murdered man's name. This is extraordinary, which can be and is seen as desperation. Doesn't mean Trump himself feels desperate. Just means he's acting that way.

I don't really think listen to you give your opinion on what you think he's done, is going to help anything.

It's the same thing posters better than you have failed to even hint at, or even give a citation for. So I honestly don't care what your thoughts are on the subject.

The Democrats have turned against their own people, by bashing them when they wanted to re-open economy and then flipping on their morals when all of the protest turned into looting and riots.

That sort of thing does not fly well with the normal voter.

So it's still only your opinion of what's happening and nothing more. That's why more and more peopled aren't seeing it like that.

He's allowed to take photo-ops and his use of Floyd's name wasn't creepy. Sorry to say it again, but that's all just your opinion.

Quit being so bloody insulting. Do not expect to hear from me again.

Such is what I expected from someone who doesn't know what's actually happening here in the US.

You're free to run along now.

More and more people are seeing it like that, which is the topic of the thread.

He's allowed to hold the convention at the Bunny Ranch if he wants. Doesn't mean it's a good idea. The photo-op was a blunder. That's what everybody thinks, anyway. Outside of Trumpists, of course. And, again, that's why it's seen as desperation. To me, Trump doesn't personally seem desperate. Walking out there holding a Bible upside down like nobody gives a ****. But, whoever put him up to it is acting out of desperation. People don't make huge blunders like that if they're feeling confident.

Look at Biden. He's hiding in his basement. The epitome of confidence. Lol.

Still all things that "you" think to be happening, or happened. While also ignoring other issues that one would say is far worse than Trump merely going out for a phot-op.

I'd think the democratic governors being in support of their cities burning, would be a more problematic issue.
