Defund police

Most anti-police will be dead soon, right? sCiEnCe tells us that. You can't have that many people together without creating a serious vector.

I dont disagree with you, but when cops are trained to shoot first, or put people into chokeholds, then that's a fundamental flaw on how a cop does their job.

capitalism has to be regulated against corruption, to aid the nation it works for. that includes not moving away vital industry or giving away vital secrets to gain access ro whatever from another country.

Two completely idiotic public policies purported by far left extremists and implemented by far left extremists that far left extremists elected to public office.

What are the results going to be?
The tax base, meaning those that actually create and add value to a local economy, are going to flee places with those public policies.
So there goes the money. Try running a metropolitan area without money.

These public policies are going to be the death knell of the locations that implement either one of them, further, they are going to be the death knell of the careers of those that support and purport them.

To those who flee locations with this left extremist infected locals: Don't bring the ideology with you. Leave it there. Don't vote it in your new locale. You'd be only making the same mistake over again.

They all get trained not to put pressure on peoples' back or neck for risk of spinal damage, or even death.
They all get trained not to put people in choke holds.
They all get trained not to fire rubber bullets at peoples' faces. (or even directly at them at all, you're supposed to ricochet them off the ground)
They all get trained not to shove unarmed old men to the ground.
They all get trained not to run people the **** over with a car.

They do it anyway, because a vicious, cruel, unaccountable culture has invaded the police nationwide. It's time we admit to ourselves that "most cops are good cops" just isn't true. If most cops were good cops, they'd be stamping out these "bad apples." They didn't stamp out the bad apples, the rot spread to the rest of the barrel. As others have said, if you have a hundred good cops staying silent about one bad cop, what you really have is a hundred and one bad cops.

The "mad max territory" is when there is no law or order, the situation which the left appears to desire by defunding the police and releasing arrested potential criminals, who just happen to turn around and re-commit crimes.

Cite where I posted the word 'disbanded'. So this is a clear miss-characterization on your part.

Presently city democrats have proposed city level legislation to reduce their police department's budgets to the tune of millions of dollars to the point where their capabilities would being significantly degraded, hampering their ability to protect those in minority neighborhoods, and then shortly followed by a spike in crimes and unsolved crimes. All this damage so that the city politicians can pointlessly signal their virtue?

Doesn't make a lick of sense to anyone with an IQ over 100.

We may not have to defund or disband the police if they keep resigning enmass due to all the leftist stupidity.

The toughest job in the United States is a police officer.
What other occupation is there where they swear at you, split on you, throw bottles and bricks.

Just imagine one of these snot nosed peaceful rioters let’s say work at McDonalds and when customers come in to order they are called names, cow killer, is spit on, throw soda on them, throw silverware. What do think they would do? Probably pound the s*** out of that customer.
Tell me what occupation takes as much abuse.

The old man reminds me of the protester in China who sacrificed his body trying to stop a government tank moving against the mob of protesters. The protester may have had a good cause in mind but he went about trying to force the hand of the authorities in ways which saw him get hurt for the effort. The police were moving the mob of protesters back. The man tried to stop the police in their tracks and ended up getting hurt.

People need to stop fighting against the police and common sense. They are not only hurting the country but they also end up hurting themselves as well.

That would be too harsh.
It would be kinder to arrest them and release them back into the streets with bail reform.
