Well, we've only had a few people die during the riots.

So if you're counting deaths we're doing pretty good.

You know something, it was the law at the time. So then it was universally seen as a good thing.

I understand that the Army is the place to locate tons of swinging dicks, but they are not there for such things.

I had two brothers subject to the draft. Of the 3 of us, I got drafted, Mike joined the Marines but Jim the homosexual never served a second in the military. I never asked him how he managed to do that. Mike managed to get kicked out of the Marines. I was the sole brother to successfully serve in our military with honorable service. (PS, at the time all of us were devoted Democrats)

Its a good thing laws can be changed, then.

And why do you feel the need to keep harping on political party affiliation? I served for over 20 years and I honestly only knew the political affiliation of a handful of Soldiers I served with and honestly didn't care.

Of course I have heard of military police HOWEVER MP's do not roam city streets nor does military law enforcement match domestic law enforcement.

Soldiers are not trained in law enforcement !!!!!

I knew what we were there for and we had been trained to handle insurrections and violence but at this date so many years later I can no longer remember whether it was the democrat or republican convention we were there for. It doesn't matter, though, because we (or at least the unit I was assigned to) never left our temporary camp on Homestead AFB the whole time.

Leftists do not like laws they do not agree with. Lt. Col. Vindman and some retired military officers don't think they should obey orders from the President of the US because they think the President is unfit for office, unlike their high opposite opinions of themselves. That is baloney. If they refuse to obey orders then they should be court martialed or publicly disgraced.

Here is what they swore they would do and if they refused to honor their oath then they lied mand should be court martialed.

The law does not give a crap about stupid opinions of stupid officers who think they should not have to obey orders they don't personally think are reasonable or necessary. What the hell are these bozos thinking, that the military should be run by low ranking officers with thousands of different contradictory opinions? The US military is noit the frikken Boy Scouts with Sodomites for troup leaders.

MPs are uniquely trained by the military to enforce law.
