Tucker Carlson, the Fox News host, expressed dismay at President Donald Trump’s leadership on Monday, criticizing the president’s handling of mass protests that have engulfed cities across the country and singling out an influential member of his family.

“If you can’t keep a Fox News correspondent from getting attacked directly across the street from your house, how can you protect my family?” Carlson said on his show. “How are you going to protect the country? How are you trying?”

He continued: “On Twitter the next morning, the president reassured America that he and his family were just fine. The federally funded bodyguards had kept them safe. He did not mention protecting the rest of the nation, much of which was then on fire. He seemed aware only of himself.”

Trouble in paradise? Carlson jumping ship? Very unlikely of course. Like Coulter who bashes Trump on a regular basis now, Carlson will never abandon the "Trump train" because he makes his $$$ pandering to the idiots who voted for and support Trump. But it IS amusing to see Carlson attack Trump as a failure, as it shows even some of Trump's own bootlickers are perhaps starting to see what a laughable joke his "leadership" truly is. Oh, and going after Kushner? Not a good idea. That's the husband of Trump's "favorite" child so to speak. I expect a tweet from Trump soon bashing Carlson and Fox News.

Carlson is probably the best talking head on Trump TV; he often gets things wrong, or contaminates otherwise astute observations with right wing garbage, but like him or not, when he's right, he's absolutely dead on. The man definitely has his moments.

I will grant you that he is better than Hannity, though that's a low bar.

Sounds like he's hedging his bets a little in case Trump loses.

My question is, how long does it take Trump's worshippers to abandon him if he loses?

Bush supporters abandoned Bush immediately after he left office in 2009, and now today you can barely find someone who would admit to being a Bush supporter. Most of those same Bush supporters currently worship Trump, but I suspect down the line, maybe even next year (if Trump loses), you will hard pressed to find anyone who will admit to being a Trump supporter. Or is the cult of Trump too strong? I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Seems like you aren't used to honest reporting. Tucker usually calls out what he see's as wrong no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on. It's too bad the MSM can't move in the same direction.

I have also noticed Fox surrounds its shows with Democrat personalities as well. Haven't seen much of that in the MSM.

Naaahhh; Tucker was never pro Trump ... just flapping in the wind for the longest of time.

Ever since Antifa knocked on his front door in November 2018 and he subsequently took a 2 week vacation, he has turned into a really wet noodle. On the other hand, he had worked for CNN before ... that should tell you something.

"A group of angry Antifa protestors gathered outside of Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson's home on Wednesday evening.

The anti-fascists group, possibly associated with Smash Racism D.C., chanted "Tucker Carlson, we will fight. We know where you sleep at night" outside of Carlson's Washington home, according to Fox News. In a video posted online, the group can also be heard saying, "Racist scumbag, leave town!" ..."

Depends how badly he loses. If the GOP loses the Senate, it should be really fast. Looks like Carlson already wants to have a foot out the door, just in case.

Haha, so Carlson is not really a Trump supporter now, eh?

Basically, for you anyone who criticizes dear leader even if it's once it no longer a Trump supporter. His entire "show" is based mostly on praising Trump, and pushing alt-right conspiracy theories meant to pander to right wing idiots, but because he rarely criticizes the chosen one, he's lost his "MAGA cred", eh?

Tucker never was a Trumper supporter ... neither was he ever a never-Trumper.

That's a good point. However, I will point out another thing that may cause GOP voters to not abandon Trump as quickly as Dubya, and it's the current political climate. Republicans have sold their souls to Trump, and elected him and defend him strictly to troll "the libs", as payback for the Obama years. We were divided in 2008, but things now are a trillion times worse, and Trump will not go down without a fight if he loses. He'll claim the election was stolen from him due to voter fraud, illegals voting, the "deep state", "Obama shadow government", etc. Hell, he did this even when he WON in 2016, so imagine if he loses?

You think Trump will invite president elect Biden to the whitehouse after the election like every president does the new incoming president? You think he attends Biden's inauguration? You already know the answers to those questions. He will not go down without a massive fight and uproar if he loses, and don't be surprised if he gives the green light to his supporters to cause "mayhem" so to speak, should things not go his way. When he does leave, he won't be quiet like every other ex president before him has been, he'll be on the sidelines fanning the flames bashing Biden and the Dems every chance he gets on twitter and on Fox, and hell he probably eventually starts the "TRUMP T.V." talk show everyone suspects he always wanted to do in the first. That way he can make $$$ from gullible GOP voters in the process while continuing to stoke division. I suspect only Trump style candidates will be able to win with GOP voters in the near future, until the party implodes, or is forced to change due to changing demographics. Only when that happens, will the GOP base abandon Trump.

Tucker never was a Trumper supporter ... neither was he ever a never-Trumper.

Right, nearly his entire show is dedicated to worshiping Trump and pandering to right wing idiots, but he never "really was" a trump supporter, sure slick.

Too little too late from this ****ing idiot. If Carlson hadn't been such an insincere dickhead during the impeachment trial, perhaps a few more Repugs in the Senate would have shown some backbone and demanded a real trial.

So long as he keeps up the racist rhetoric, they'll love him. Biden sounds like he could pick a black female VP, which will be so much twitter fodder for a racist misogynist like Trump. We'll be seeing all sorts of retweets of far right supremacist ****.

I don't watch much news these days. Partisan bs and those who fuel violence is so off putting. Life's too short to be indoctrinated.
So please, if you don't mind, did you watch the show or did someone tell you that's what Tucker said?

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

I remember back in the day when Carlson was on CNN's "Crossfire" show. He has always been annoying and whiny, but he wasn't nearly as stupid back then as he acts now.

Deep down, I'm sure he is probably embarrassed to be part of Fox Noise.

Trump's racist supporters will always be with him, no matter what.

Just like Southern rednecks still worship Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee, and the Confederacy.
