479 delegates are up for grabs today for 8 presidential contests -- 7 states and Washington DC. Biden needs at least 425 more delegates to secure the nomination. If he doesn't get it tonight, he'll get it on June 9th, when Georgia and West Virginia vote.

Always good to know that during one of the darkest and most challenging times in American history, we're on the precipice of locking in a choice between one of two stupid, insensate dementia patients.

Yes, self imposed mind you

Who needs an army to defeat the U.S.?

I still would not rule out some DNC shenanigans.

Go Joe!

Joe Biden might win, but he won't know it - not for long anyway.

Being the only active DNC POTUS primary canadidate ups his odds a bit. ;)

All delegates on the first round of voting are bound to vote for the candidate they are assigned. It only becomes problematic when no candidate gets more than 50% of the delegates or if the Superdelegates could tip the balance. Biden is looking at between 2k and 3k delegates in his pocket.

I am heading off to bed now. The current count reads 1835 with most states with less than 60% reported. When I wake up tomorrow, he'll probably hit the number or come up a hair short. Good for him. Third time is the charm.
