An opportunity lost.

President of the United States of America Donald Trump, no stranger to the use of visuals, seems to have missed an excellent opportunity yesterday in the 'church' photo op. He got it exactly right with the prop of the Bible, of course. But he should have also had an AK-47 slung over his shoulder. That would have completed the picture. If you're going to go to all the trouble of tear-gassing people to clear the way to walk to the photo op site, such a golden opportunity shouldn't have been missed. A crisis, after all, is a terrible thing to waste.

It was enough to show that he was unafraid to walk the public highway, a right he refuses to American citizens backed up by a paramilitary police.

An AK-47 is not a weapon used by police or military forces in this country. Just wondering why you used that specific weapon.

FWIW: The United States has the largest Christian population in the world, with nearly 240 million Christians. That's a lot of followers of the Holy Bible

I made up nothing. I saw a paramilitary police move citizens away and I also saw the president allowed to walk on the same road and stand at a church with a Bible. It was all on my TV.
 
The AK47 (actually what most people call the AK47 is really the AKM, a modified version of the original) is a Soviet designed weapon. Why would any American leader carry one of them? Perhaps the person who started this stupid thread is thinking of the AR15. The civilian version of the U.S. military used M16. The AKM is the most common semi auto military type rifle in the world. The M16 the second most popular.

How many do you suppose opened up that bible of theirs in the last three months, let alone took it with them anywhere? How many can even find their Bibles buried in their homes under mountains of clutter or growing cobwebs on some bookshelf?

You really think the majority of self identified Christians know their Bibles better than their guns? Trump sure as hell doesn't. I will bet any amount of money that the bible Donald got his hands on, was not a personal copy he kept at his bedside or in any desk drawer. It was a prop, just like his faith is.

On public land in broad daylight, free citizens may congregate legally. It is an assault on citizens to attack them with a paramilitary police. This does not happen in free countries. It is certainly not routine in the Land of the Free.
