Each state has their own national guard. Here is a quick cite.

Each state, Washington DC and US territories has a national guard, and serve a dual state and federal mission. It is first and foremost a state agency, but units can be mobilised by the US president to assist the country's armed forces.

IF that isn't enough, the president can bring in the military. People need to stop relying on daddy Trump.

President Trump said during a statement in the Rose Garden on Monday that he is “taking immediate action” and “mobilizing all available federal resources” to stop riots and looting across the country, threatening to deploy the military if states don’t send in the National Guard to protests.

"I will fight to protect you," Trump said.

Immediately following the speech, the president and his entourage walked outside of the White House, across Lafayette Square, to St. Johns Episcopal Church, which caught on fire during the protesters the night before.

"I have recommended every governor deploy the National Guard in sufficient numbers to dominate the streets," the president said during his speech. "We are ending riots and lawlessness, we will end it today."

Trump said he is dispatching "thousands and thousands of heavily armed soldiers and military personnel" to stop the rioting.

"I want organizers of this terror to be on notice that you will face severe criminal penalties," he said.

"We cannot allow the righteous cries of peaceful protesters to be drowned out by an angry mob," the president added. "The biggest victims of this rioting are peace-loving citizens in our poorest communities."

That is a nasty choice to make, but it's a no-brainer. How many thousand deaths did Governor Mark cause when he ordered care facilities to accept symptomatic COVID-19 patients? Chris only nauseates people.

He is certainly not a conservative. His political direction actually resembles a weather vane in a whirlwind. Yesterday's Trump doesn't agree with Today's Trump.

You are so right about that. We need a real president and not a reality show personality. We need someone who knows that the President serves us not the other way around.

So you think rights and the interpretation of the U.S. Constitution should bend to popular opinion? We're a Democratic Republic but even then public opinion should not be the main determiner of public policy.

Would your views be the same if the overwhelming tide of American public opinion turned against abortion rights and LGBT rights?

I doubt it.

America has Presidents that care for the people and they serve at our pleasure. Mobilizing our military only exacerbates the situation. Turning up the heat often sets fires.

America has become great because our Govt. was protecting our wishes and rights. If the Govt. tries to legislate in the courts what they cannot do in Congress that will be betraying our trust. Pass a law banning abortion if you want it so bad. Repeal the clean air and water bills and the civil rights act too. I dare you. There are ways of eliminating incompetent and unqualified Justices if need be.

Sounds like you are advocating using violence against justices you disagree with. And remember that many of the "rights" you apparently believe in like abortion and LGBT "rights" were never voted in by the American people but imposed by the courts.

What the courts give the courts can take away.

Impeachment is not violence but that is what we will do if it is needed. Our rights are determined by the Constitution not reactionary judges. You can bet your life on it.

It was "reactionary judges" that gave you a number of the so called "rights" that you crave. I'm against judges legislating. Just return the law and constitution to what it was in 1972 and I'll be pretty happy.
