All White people are racist

So, we're partially genetically programmed towards race favoritism and partially socially engineered to be prejudiced?
I can get on board with that but it's equally true then for all races.

We're partially programmed to make generalizations.
Generalizations about everything.

Social forces are what encourages us to choose skin tones as a grouping criterion for these generalizations.

The criterion choice is probably somewhat arbitrary.
Humans have used all sorts of other things as pretenses for hating one another.

Skin tone is just what we happened to land on this time.

We could split people up by smell, by height, by thumb size, or w/e else instead of skin color.
We'd still be stupid about it.

Also, though, we are capable of rationality.
We have volition.
We can choose to be in the moment and evaluate situations and people for what they are rather than what we think they are.

But, humans have to choose that and it's a bother.

Still holding onto those old fairy tales are ya. Asking for a president to prove hes born in the US is racist because hes black?

When you've never said word one about any white POTUS? Yep, that makes you a racist. And if you defend doing it, you're also a racist. Honestly dude, it's not that complicated.

That makes you the racist.

So being against racist behavior means you are a racist? Dang man, that's some awesome doublethink you got happening there.

They're just saying it out loud is all.

Sadly but obviously, Van Jones is correct.

How could anyone possibly be raised in a society as racist as American society, with it's long and well established history of disgusting racism such as slavery and lynchings, and not be affected by it? Jim Crow laws existed when I was alive, it's not ancient history. These were laws specifically designed to ensure people with brown skin were unable to gain political or economic power. I suspect you were alive when they existed as well. I watched the National Guard get called in to defend little children from adults, adults who felt justified attacking children because the children had brown skin. This isn't ancient history. This is in our lifetimes.

Are you seriously saying you've been magically immune to such influences your entire life? Because I've read your posts, and unsurprisingly they indicate you were far from immune, which isn't a knock on you, it's what we all learned from being raised in a racist White culture, including me.

Look at the hatred in the eyes of those white women. Because that child has brown skin. They would have loved Trump.

EDIT: And kudos to that young lady. When I was younger, I would have described her as "one brave mofo."

I don't know of a race on earth that does not have a faction of racists among them. There is a faction of white people that are racists toward other races. There is a faction of black people that are racists toward other races. There's a faction of eastern Asians that are racists toward other races of people. There is a major faction of people in Middle Eastern countries that are racists toward others. There's a faction of Indians that are racists toward other races of people. Then you have subdivisions of those who are of the same race but have
what appears to be irreconcilable differences.

But in this country, no person is to be denied the enjoyment of any civil or political right because of race, color, creed, sex or national origin. And my suggestion is if you are a person that likes to weaponize race, color, creed, or any of the above, you are part of the problem.

There has not been a time in this country's history where people of all races, color, creed etc. that are living in far less segregated communities including gated communities. In every profession people of color have been elevated to the top. And they did it the old-fashioned way, they earned it.

I do not want to see race weaponization destroy all the progress that has been made. I do not want to see these anarchist groups destroy the boat that has lifted everyone economically by seeing the destruction thousands of businesses that may never survive. I do not want to see the program fail that has the private sector pouring mountains of money into oppressed areas where jobs can be scarce to produce them.

Don't be a person that weaponizes race.

CNN's Van Jones: "Even the most well-intentioned white person has a virus in his or her brain" | Disrn

CNN's Van Jones on Friday accused all white people of being racist, saying, "Even the most liberal, well-intentioned white person has a virus in his or her brain that can be activated at an instant."

Well, there you have it, all white people are automatically racist according to an expert. That should end all epithet's and race baiting from whites on whites because we're all equally guilty, right?

That is total BS for sure.

Right. You've been raised in a blatantly racist culture your entire life, and you think it hasn't affected you even the littlest bit? SMH.

Too late. Americans decided to elect a POTUS who uses it as one of his primary campaign strategies.

Don't forget, white women filled with hate, just like those in photo below, were the mothers of some of the MAGA crowd. Is it any wonder they turned out to racists?

You become a racist be having different accountability for different races. Thats what you do, but even worse is you do it for a political stance. You use the term for everything that doesn't work out for you.
Its a sign of weakness.

And African-Americans don't?

White, Black, Red, Yellow, Brown, folks are folks and we all work the same way. We ALL have that capability. White people don't have some corner on the market regarding bias or prejudice. What they have is a long historical arch since the Renaissance age of a power advantage. However, all over the world there are periods in regional history where tribal bias and prejudices caused one tribe to enslave another, members or one religion to enslave another, etc and so forth.

People in general all have this particular disorder, to act out against others we perceive to be "not like us" in some way. The fix is to acknowledge it and then use intellect to correct it.

Here's a feel good video. NBA star J.R. Smith found this punk vandalizing his car during the horrific riots in L.A that have been occurring.. So he beat the peanut butter soup out of him. Personally after watching all the senseless violence and feckless destruction of innocent people's property in the name of justice, I enjoyed watching him kick his scrawny little arse.

Now I wonder if Van would see this like I do and if it would make a difference if it was a white NBA star kicking the arse of a black punk destroying his property. Just a thought.

This is what racists say.

What Van Jones said was racism but it wasn't typical of his past language, so I wouldn't label him because he said a dumb thing. I do believe we all favor our own cultures, regardless of ethnicity. But that's culturalism not racism.

they want to dish it out then they have to take it.
If a white person would Have said that they would have been fired and labeled a racist from these people.
If you don't like the heat stay out of the kitchen.
