I have no need to be better than I am. I am what I am, and proud of it. I don't care if you do not like what I am. I am proud of being a sexist, holding woman up as an example of beauty, however fleeting. Of course Taylor Swift is a woman, no news there. And she, like Betty Grable, insured her legs for a $mil. She understands what she is better than you do. You need to look up big words before you use them.

Plato never said men and women can be friends without sex entering the relationship. He said women, also had to be respected for their minds. One does not exclude the other. Nor does appreciation of either. Get over it.

I've enjoyed two successful marriages with two very beautiful, strong intelligent women, never faced divorce, not ever a hint of dissatisfaction. I must be doing something right.

Learn how to comprehend what you read. I didn't disparage her or her comments. I did show the fallacy built in to the post I responded to, by example of another woman who took joy in her femininity. And Betty Grable was smarter than Taylor Swift. Much smarter. Now go learn about her.

None of that addresses the fact that Taylor Swift described Trump's presidency with pinpoint accuracy, particularly when he publicly supported Neo Nazis and the KKK saying some are "very fine people", while attacking peaceful black protesters, calling them "Sons of Bitches".

I love red necks, so long as they aren't racists. There's a lot of ranch and farm country in British Columbia, and I was lucky enough to get to spend some summers on both.

Do you have the slightest idea how revolutionary that was for a "white movie" let alone from a white woman movie star. The studio purposefully destroyed a photograph of Betty dancing with the Nicholas brothers, a scandal in the studio's eyes, and the same for most of America. This wasn't a cute Shirley Temple act with step and fetch Bojangles.

I don't hate to clue you in, when the looting starts, the shooting does start. It gives bad police and white supremacists an excuse. There's good reason for a governor to call out the National Guard, and it isn't the looters.

And I do understand, you hated Donny before he was born. As if I care. There isn't a politician in this country worth spit.

There ya go, that's what I was interested in: Real information, not delusional rants. Of course I realize how revolutionary that must have been. All one need to is look at today's support of a POTUS who publicly supports Neo Nazis and White Supremacist to imagine how big of a problem racism was back then.

But then America's entire history is steeped in racism and hatred, and Trump's presidency has proven that in many ways things have changed very little.
