This is surreal. Trump used Saturday morning messages to declare himself safe inside the White House, lash out at a Democratic mayor, and raise the prospect of the Secret Service unleashing dogs and "ominous weapons" on the unrepentant protesters.
You heard right.
"Great job last night at the White House by the U.S. @SecretService. They were not only totally professional, but very cool. I was inside, watched every move, and couldn't have felt more safe," Trump said on Twitter.
He said the Secret Service "let the 'protesters' scream & rant as much as they wanted, but whenever someone...got too frisky or out of line, they would quickly come down on them, hard - didn't know what hit them. If they had they would...have been greeted with the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons, I have ever seen. That's when people would have been really badly hurt, at least."
This man is sick, and with his constant firing of members of his own government, he has been out of control since the Trump Republican Senate vindicated him.
To give some idea how desperate Trump is, as shown by this thread and other threads, his supporters have totally given up on him. Those opposed to Trump's nutty antics are being given free rein.
Even GOP leaders in Congress are avoiding what Trump does and says. They are extremely vulnerable with Trump as the party leader, and they must divest themselves from the President, a precarious position to be in, for sure.
