    How would you feel?

If your neck was being stepped on for over two hundred years? To deny racism exists against black and brown folks is to enable it to continue.

All these threads calling them savages doesn't explain the blatant racism. Maybe some folks are acting like savages because they've seen enough killing of innocent black folks by cops. Who are the real savages, the black folks who have been discriminated against for a couple hundred years or those who continue to view them as savages?

If you're white and can't understand why some of these folks resort to violence, you are a part of the problem. That's my opinion.

I'll let you know once I'm over 200 years old...

Racism exists against everyone, and unfortunately it always will.... but it is no longer prevalent in the US and hasn't been for many, many years now.

    Re: How would you feel?

Where are 'all these threads calling them savages'?

In my opinion, lumping all cops together is as bad as lumping all blacks, browns, whites, together. There are many black, brown, asian cops out there that don't appreciate that. Are they denying racism exists as well?

I can understand the rioting and even agree with it at this time, but what I can't understand is the destruction of property of the very people that are on your side. Did you know that the business that Floyd worked at was totally destroyed and burned? Can anyone explain why that happened? I'd be willing to listen and try to understand the purpose of that. Or the purpose of people swarming out of the local businesses with electronics and armloads of clothing? How does one get behind that?

I understood just fine when it started the other night and then I thought "Oh ****, they just ruined it". I can even understand the burning of the cop car, but to hurt your community for personal gain does nothing but turn people off and it takes over whatever positive message is being sent. It's like that saying "Help me, to help you"

The cop has been arrested, yet the destruction continues. Can someone explain that?

The irony of you saying this after what you posted is thick.

How would you feel about operating a business in a (race?) riot prone area? Being treated disrespectfully based on race is clearly wrong and obviously leads to anger and frustration, but so is being treated disrespectfully based on your occupation or simply the location of your business.
