Fact checking the president.

Let's just say our current president has an aptitude for hyperbole, putting it mildly. He's now angry with social media because twitter, finally, did a little something concerning some of his tweets.

Twitter and any other media outlet is so biased against this president, how dare someone fact check what comes out of our president's mouth?

Another day, another trump enemy. Republicans when will you awaken to the fact that stay at home requests are for the good of everyone, and you guys bitch about losing freedoms and the economy, even strutting around with your firearms at state capitols to show your distaste.

Yet when trump says, twitter or social media is biased, the base immediately starts bashing away at trump's intended targets, the new enemies of the day. When will you realize you are creating the environment for a dictator to emerge, trump is almost an autocrat at this point because the gop politicians have no balls. Trump is doing the same thing hitler did in germany and the gop politicians and base are only helping. Fascism is where we are heading if trump is re elected. The worst part, the folks on the right totally disagree.
 
How dare you fact check the President! His propaganda is the best propaganda and the only propaganda you need! Quit thinking for yourself.

I believe ALL politicians be fact checked.

Trump simply demonstrates the need for fact checking to a greater degree than most...

What I find amusing...and quite disingenuous...is that Twitter didn't "fact-check" anything. They presented references and links to articles from the Trump hating media that purport to fact check Trump or that make claims about the absence of voter fraud and mail-in ballot fraud.

So, in effect, all Twitter did was push biased media nonsense onto Trump's twitter account. Are they a platform that allows people to express themselves? Or are they a publisher of THEIR opinion that is based on the opinion of the Trump hating media?

No matter...they will soon have to answer when the DOJ and FCC asks them those question...and more.

When will you liberal Trump haters realize we are damaging the country with all the stay at home orders? We are harming people economic lives and this will have long term consequences. People will die, they die every day in America for many causes. Staying home is not the answer just as it isn't the answer for influenza or any of the many, many causes of death each year. Stop using the Covid 19 pandemic as a political weapon. Open up America, treat the sick and take reasonable precautions if you feel the need. Let America deal with the virus as needed in each state, in each community according to the severity of the outbreak.

And Collusion between Trump and Russia was said to be factual, Adam Schiff saw the evidence himself. Problem is Mueller said "not so" and Schiff never produced the said evidence. So if Schiff didn't produce it, Mueller couldn't find it, it must not exist.

It's not a matter of opinion and there is no such thing as "alternate facts". It is a lie that mail-in ballots are subject to fraud. There is no evidence of that and saying it without proof is a LIE. Is there no bottom to your defense of the indefensible?

When it comes to the Trump hating media, EVERYTHING they present are "alternate facts". And yes...Twitter is expressing their opinion when they include the media's alternate facts in response to someone's twitter post.

It seems to me that if you want to claim the media is biased and dishonest, you wouldn't want to be constantly caught lying by that same media, right? Am I making sense?
