Until we see a real drop in support for him in the polls this doesn't mean much.

He seems to maintain around 40% of the country no matter what he does.

But who are they going to vote for? I'm sure some may just stay home, but I think most will end up voting for the Party because that's what Party Voters do.

But, as we know, national polls matter not in a system governed by the electoral college. The right people in the right places can deliver an electoral victory for the least popular candidate. So, are the people saying these things in swing States?

I believe you'll find about a 40% support for the letter (R or D) regardless of the candidate. It's that middle group that decides elections and Trump is wearing thin in that middle group.

See there stories at the link.

How many people are comfortable with Biden’s comment that is V.P. should be able to run the country? In the context of Biden speaking, that means he will be turning over the office soon after he gets in.

Say what you want but Biden’s possible “capable” VP’s are totally unimpressive. First he excluded all men. Then he excluded all whites and browns. Excluding people based on race and gender: Not a good look.

i am a republican never Trumper

Trump has nothing to do with the republican party nor is he a conservative, he is fiscally irresponsible

He does parrot socially conservative issues but could care less about them or the idiots that vote for him.

I totally agree.

This is one of many reasons I would vote republican if the GOp had a real republican candidate and not the clown Trump.

That is one way to spin it. So I take it you don't want a VP capable of running the country. Is that your opinion of Pence?

As far a Biden, he should not have made the statement about his VP selection. One should look for the best qualified. Gender, race, etc. should not matter.

IOW a RINO. If you don't support the social agenda, you are NOT a real Conservative.

You mean some limpwrist RINO like Bob Dull, McStain or (gag) Romney? Pass. We need hardcore Conservatives.

The VP should be able to run the country because the whole reason they're there is to take over if something happens to the President.

The problem with this is that he had more than that support when he won, and it dropped rather quickly. The flip side of that is making sure those who don't want Trump to be reelected get out to vote rather than letting his base (which is mainly who he has left voting for him), who are inexplicably very loyal to him be the voting majority.

There is an explanation actually.

Yes. Due to untimely death, incapacitation, etc.

Biden is planning his exit already because he knows his dementia is taking him down the rabbit hole. This is not solid or healthy reasoning by a national political party. Do you realize the DNC is swallowing this charade over swapping in Hillary, AKA the tallest democrat presidential midget?

Good grief.

I don't think reminding people of Civics really comes down to "planning his exit". But I guess whatever fuels your conspiracy theory here.

Trump enjoys around 95% support from the Republican Party.

I'm thinking these "Republican Voters Against Trump" can be dismissed.

It's sad to see the party of the great Abraham Lincoln turn into a nativist fascist party.

Abraham Lincoln, Honest Abe, a real Christian, would despise Trump. It's an American tragedy.
