The widower of a former congressional staff member for Joe Scarborough has asked Twitter chief executive officer Jack Dorsey to delete tweets by President Trump furthering a baseless conspiracy theory about his wife’s death.

“My request is simple: Please delete these tweets,” Timothy J. Klausutis wrote in a letter to Dorsey, seeking his intervention as Trump continues to suggest that Scarborough, a former Republican congressman from Florida who is now an MSNBC host, was responsible for the 2001 death of Lori Klausutis.

In a statement Tuesday, Twitter expressed sympathy for the Klausutis family but gave no indication Trump’s tweets would be deleted.

Trump watches the MSNBC program 'Morning Joe'. Host Scarborough gets under his skin. In return, Trump has Tweeted a baseless conspiracy theory that this woman was murdered by Scarborough.

I watched on Morning Joe when Mika read his entire letter, start to finish.

Trump is a piece of **** and his actions are indefensible. He is hurting this man, badly, by using his wife's tragic death to attack Joe Scarborough.

Trump is the most disgusting excuse for a human being since Charles Manson.

What a disgusting excuse for a human being this narcissist Public Health Threat-in-Chief sociopath Donald J. Trump is. His poisonous words foam out of his mouth like from a mad dog.

MostlyStupidNonsenseByCommunist IE MSNBC have been peddling anti-Trump conspiracy theories probably since Trump announced he was running for the republican nomination for president and they have the nerve or audacity to complain about Trump peddling a conspiracy theory about one of the hosts.Trump should tell them to go **** themselves for all the conspiracy theories they pushed about him and will continue to push seeing how he doesn't have a D next to his name.
