What if Trump accused YOU of murder?

It's actually the whole of the world's media except conservative media.

American conservative media consumers have a recent history distinct from the consensus reality of the rest of the world.

A recent history that changes as necessary to cover trump's ass.

Very "1984" tbh.

Masterfully phrased, my friend!

Lets see if the hair on fire busting through plate glass windows upset occurs with what the NYT is doing again?

NY Times Pushes Conspiracy Theory About Trump Refusing to Accept 2020 Outcome

“After Mr. Biden wins a narrow Electoral College victory, Mr. Trump refuses to accept the results, won’t leave the White House and declines to allow the Biden transition team customary access to agencies before the Jan. 20 inauguration.”

In the age of Trump, many media outlets have resorted to publishing pure fiction disguised as news, hence the popularity of the term “fake news.”

Over the weekend, the New York Times put out a story that is based purely on fantasy. It is like fan fiction for the “resistance.”

The scenario presented is that Trump is not going to accept the outcome of the 2020 election (sounds familiar) and that preparations are underway to deal with the situation.

Reid J. Epstein writes:

Trump Sows Doubt on Voting. It Keeps Some People Up at Night.

A group of worst-case scenario planners — mostly Democrats, but also some anti-Trump Republicans — have been gaming out how to respond to various doomsday options for the 2020 presidential election.

In October, President Trump declares a state of emergency in major cities in battleground states, like Milwaukee and Detroit, banning polling places from opening.

A week before the election, Attorney General William P. Barr announces a criminal investigation into the Democratic presidential nominee, Joseph R. Biden Jr.

After Mr. Biden wins a narrow Electoral College victory, Mr. Trump refuses to accept the results, won’t leave the White House and declines to allow the Biden transition team customary access to agencies before the Jan. 20 inauguration.

Far-fetched conspiracy theories? Not to a group of worst-case scenario planners — mostly Democrats, but some anti-Trump Republicans as well — who have been gaming out various doomsday options for the 2020 presidential election. Outraged by Mr. Trump and fearful that he might try to disrupt the campaign before, during and after Election Day, they are engaged in a process that began in the realm of science fiction but has nudged closer to reality as Mr. Trump and his administration abandon longstanding political norms.

Joe Biden has pushed this conspiracy theory as well, which Epstein advances without question. This is not a coincidence. The New York Times is doing this for the Biden campaign:

Mr. Biden, for his part, has suggested more than once that Mr. Trump might try to disrupt or delay the election. And his campaign grew very concerned this month when it was announced that election security briefings, which in past cycles had been delivered to candidates by the F.B.I. and the Department of Homeland Security, would now be the province of the director of national intelligence.

Would YOU ignore Trump's disturbed accusations if the president's tweets were about your own dead spouse?
That piece of crap will prove what kind of low life he is over and over and in more outrageous ways and as everyone can see there will be his degenerate ass kissers that will defend him.

You realize he’s just doing this to divert people from talking about 100,000 deaths on his watch, right?

What if Trump accused YOU of murder?
I'd politely retort that he may stick it up his azz.

If you did that, Trump supporters would clutch their pearls and faint on the spot.

I mean at some point you have to ask, is it really absolutely everyone else...or is it Trump?

No, the whole ****ing world is lying and conspiring against Trump. Just ask any Trumpster on this board.

Seriously, we've allowed these morons to simply label anything that is less than flattering to Trump as "fake news" without demanding that they tell us what is "fake" about it.

Everything that Mango the Clown says is a lie by default. Only his duped cult listens to him anymore.

I personally know some of those cultist. They will defend their choice without fail.
That means every voter who does not support the cult needs to get off their butt and vote this November.

Maybe a bit strong, maybe not. I also like to verify what is being written or said in MSM. So much "news" today have an editorial twist to it. the days of Walter Cronkite are over.
The issue I have is how the MSM edits vids or sound recordings at time. We don't get all the facts. Just what they want to show us.

I am not arguing your point. Just saying, despite it's flaws, I will take US media/journalism/news reporting over any other nations that I am familiar with.
I worked in advertising and marketing prior to retiring. I am fully aware that "news" either sells, or it gets edited, cut or replaced by content that is deemed more "newsworthy".
This fact has not changed since the days when William Randolph Hearst had the power to make or break a politician.

Are you as upset with the 7/24 lies and false stories against Trump? The whole DAMN Russian hoax for 3 plus year?
Trying to remove a president with lies?

"HOAX" indeed.
You are among those who have chosen to believe the disinformation propaganda machine.
Your willingness to stand by your man, and look the other way as GRU agents hack into our elections is one of the saddest things I have seen in a nation that
not that long ago stood against communism and dictators. History will point to your blind support of Trumpism as a low point in American governance.

Would YOU ignore Trump's disturbed accusations if the president's tweets were about your own dead spouse?

Our president was at it again last week Tweeting 19-year old unfounded accusations in order to attack one of his critics.
Trump essentially accused Joe Scarborough of murdering his congressional aid who died after an accidental fall in 2001.
The dead woman's husband asked the ceo of Twitter to delete the Trump tweets, complaining that Trump's insensitive and baseless attack causes him and his family to relive the painful tragedy.
Meanwhile, good honest hard working people continually overlook these types of lies that Donald Trump uses in order to keep his followers angry.

6 times Trump has falsely accused his political opponents of crimes

Many Americans don't seem to care what Trump says in his vicious attacks that are often filled with baseless lies.
To his supporters attacking whoever Trump perceives as an enemy or threat is just playing "hardball".

However, I see Trump's lies and attacks as proof that we live in a truly Machiavellian time in which holding on to power at any and all means is paramount.
"Win at all costs!" is the mantra of the GOP even if it destroys belief in our institutions, undermines justice in our society, or causes people heartache.

Vote blue not red!

Funny stuff.... you moan about baseless lies when it's the MSM that bombards
the Trump administration 7/24 with completely baseless lies and false accusations.

NYT, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, WP, YAHOO NEWS, and the list goes on and on!

And what 'lies' are those?? Can you point to a claim, and show it's a lie?

You may challenge the validity of Trump's adversaries having such planning discussions. But make no mistake these types of scenarios ARE being played out.
What? You think it's far fetched? Or made up a la fictional writing? No. This is where many Americans have been pushed by a president and party that often act unAmerican.

We want to deny Trump a second term. Meanwhile, POTUS fires all Inspector Generals who dare sniff out Administration wrongdoing.
Trump claims weekly to have unconstitutional powers over state governors that are not his.
Trump builds his Enemies List to include anyone who disagrees with him, starting with the free press which he attacks daily for asking questions he refuses to answer.

That piece of crap will prove what kind of low life he is over and over and in more outrageous ways and as everyone can see there will be his degenerate ass kissers that will defend him.

Yeah. But what do you REALLY think? LOL

Back when Joe was a Republican the Democrats hated him. Here's a 2004 diary from DailyKos lauding Michael Moore for going after Scarborough - Joe Scarborough threatens to sue Michael Moore

This Scarborough story has been going around for 20+ years and why it has come up now I have no idea...well, no idea other than convenient political purposes.

Bull. None of those media networks have falsely accused anyone of murder. Maybe the National Enquirer, but not MSM. You may be satisfied with a National Enquirer POTUS, most of us aren't.

You make valid points. Without being an attack dog. I respect your more moderate tone.
However, news media companies all have an editorial viewpoint that to some degree guides their journalism.
Back in another time the Hearst newspaper empire could make or break a politician or brand. What has really changed?
For one thing, today many of us have an unbelievable array of sources to select news and info from.
Personally, I have tired of the claim that our MSM is "fake news" and not to be trusted.
Do the companies have a "viewpoint"? Yes. Are they all to be ignored as if they are working to misinform the nation?
Not in my opinion. Just get your info from several sources, compare, and use some common sense.

Isn't this the exact same thing with the media that murderous dictators do in their countries, and the citizens blindly believe that only the dictator himself knows what's best for them? The dictator tells them that he only speaks the truth, and bans any other form of outside news that may say otherwise?

Their brainwashed victims will defend them and bash the outside media also. Never did think I would see so many spineless people falling for this right here in America. Kiss America and our Democracy goodbye if there's four more years of lies and destruction by this president.

That truth is what millions of otherwise pragmatic Americans fear we have in the Oval Office.
I will be working in some ways in the coming months to help Joe Biden win the Electoral College vote.

I pretty much agree. Most stories carried by the MSM contain facts. It is the editorial narrative one needs to ignore.
