my views on the issues have not changed. My positions ranged from moderate or centrist to progressive depending on the nature of the issue. I still believe pretty much the same solutions to the same problems and there were not primarily determined by my party. My sense of the tactics to be used, however is now highly partisan and hardened to get the goals accomplished. I used to be a ' we go high, when they go low / its possible to disagree without being disagreeable' kind of guy. I no longer think that gets rewarded by the electorate, and constraining the set of tactics we employ, to standards the GOP won't also constrain themselves from, is going to do anything but set ourselves out to be losers, and that means big trouble for our constituants and for a country that needs two contrasting visions.

If one side won't kick the crotch, gauge eyes, and grab a knife, and the other side is in a barroom brawl, and fairness gets interpreted as weakness by the rest of the customers, someone is going to the hospital and its pretty predictable which one that is.

My positions change as conditions change

What is required for today can be different than what is required tomorrow.

What is required for one region to work and thrive is different than what a different region will require

2. Work on your English/writing skills (seriously).

I'm OK with abortion, but not after a certain point. No problem with gay marriage or legal pot. Not a racist, don't like racists. I am a strong Trump supporter and am all in on "America First".
