Someone here at DB made the point that a system in which one party is allowed routinely to break the rules but the other is usually not cannot last.

So when will it crash..cease to last?

According to my best info, the Obama administration spied on the Trump campaign, and then the Trump presidency. Then they used the unlawfully attained information to try to derail all things Trump aka We The People.

There was the Russia Hoax... The fake impeachment..

So again we ask (we, meaning We the People)

How long can such an egregiously unbalanced system last...when will it crash?

We are in another Gilded Age of American politics. The only interesting dynamic is that people actually passionately believe there is a difference between the GOP and the DNC.

1. Democrats constantly claim there is either no voter fraud, or it is almost non-existent. Yet we have various reports of examples, often of Democrat shenanigans. Most recently an election "judge" who admitted he took bribes and personally voted multiple times to ensure Democrat candidates won their races. Then there is the Florida County where in both the 2000 election, and again in 2016 a whole slue of "uncounted ballots" suddenly appears when it looked like the Democrat Candidate for President was losing. Literally piles of them.

2. Everyone should know by now the Hillary "server" issue, which was reduced to a "matter." This despite FBI Director Comey describing the results of the investigation in a way that had it been anyone else, they would have been charged with a crime.

3. Then we know, despite people hating the WikiLeaks source, that the DNC cheated to get Hillary the nomination. Both against Sanders, and then in various ways (like advance information on Debate questions) seeking to give her any advantage to win.

4. There have been sex scandals, spousal abuse scandals, bribery scandals, all sorts of things which get minimal coverage if not out-right excuses in the Left-Leaning Press, but which are played up whenever it is a Republican in that same Left-Leaning Press.

All you have to do is recall discussions in this very Forum about Benghaqzi, Whitewater, Fast and Furious, etc., etc., etc.

The truth is BOTH Parties have enough skeletons in their closets to choke a Whale. It simply depends on both how the MSM plays them up or down, and our own confirmation biases on how we interpret them.
