In discussions with a liberal friend

Yesterday I met a long time friend for coffee. We always discuss politics. Unlike so many that always get mad and end up calling me names, we can talk with out getting mad. Yesterday it was what I call criminal aliens, and he calls refugees that was under discussion. I pointed that if you look at pictures of his refugees, most of them seem to be men from 18 to 30. I suggested that instead of running out of their countries, they should stay and fight for their rights, and improve their countries. Then to his regret he said but the government has all the guns, and there is nothing they can do. It was then I reminded him of the fact that at a former coffee, he said the government is the only group that should have guns. I simply said see, that is what you get if citizens dont have guns. I think it gave his something to ponder.
 
They can make a years wages working one month in America. And even more depending on the job they get.


You can say that if they if they stay home, they aren't very ambitious.

The typical progressive will not see that as a contradiction. They support a society dominated by the state; they basically view the state in the same way Mussolini did.

The only reason progressives support immigration at all is because they believe the new immigrants will vote Democrat, i.e. vote to increase government power over society. Hence there is no contradiction.

The point is they come in here as criminal invaders, which is against our immigration laws.
 
As if armed militia in the states could actually fight the government if necessary. They'd be obliterated effortlessly.

I don't talk politics IRL very often anymore. I do listen to my mom's "WTF / this ****ing idiot" / "your dad is really getting worried because this ****ing moron did this stupid and dangerous thing" speeches, though. I relish those conversations.

Liberals support immigration because they believe in globalism. One day Big Brother will protect the entire world under one giant umbrella.

They mistakenly believe you can legislate a utopia that requires more than society has to give. They lack a realistic view of the world's limitations. They have two helpings of heart but only half a helping of brain.

We can see how the liberals view the state just by the posters here. They relish in a very powerful state run by un-elected bureaucrats such as the CDC or the WHO or some governor who orders them to wear masks or stay home. They fear death most of all and are willing to give up liberty just so they will never die. This is why they are called snow flakes. They push a narrative that it is good for the whole or the collective and therefore it is permissible for them to take away your freedoms of assembly and worship.

I used to debate Christianity and stopped as it is a no win situation. Their fall back is always the bible and you are selfish if you don't do what they think is moral and you will go to hell. These leftists use the same debate tactics. If you don't agree with them, you are selfish and immoral and we must sacrifice for the good of the collective which is God.

So, no United States if the British explorers & colonists had followed this logical rule? (The Spanish had driven out the occupying Moslems, & reconquered Spain. They would shortly require all the Moslems to convert to Christianity, or to leave; & would make the same requirement of the Jewish population. & of course, once the converted former Jewish population began to outproduce & outperform the Old Christian population, they too had to leave Spain, never to return. I'm not sure what Portugal's take was with reference to non-Christians living among them.)

In what way is true conservative ideology biased towards white people? True conservatives, not to be confused with establishment Republicans, want less government control and interference. If you think that's a utopia that benefits white people I think you're kind of racist.

You're dreaming. Any true armed threat to Uncle Sam would be ruthlessly decimated. Even in the 1700s it would have been a stretch. People lost the fight against government a long time ago.

Unless they're seeking asylum. We need to separate them from illegals. The asylum intake process can be debated but what they're doing is perfectly legal
