What big response? Outside of the Foxospsphere, its really not that big an issue.

Like I said, if it wasnt for Biden going on the show, I GUARANTEE you that 98% of the people clutching thier pearls now wouldnt know the host of the show who asked the question that illicited that response if he walked up to them on the street.

Was it a stupid overly flippant answer to a racially charged question? Sure. Was it the mosr racist thing ever? Of course not....it wouldnt even make the Presidents top 10.

I agree, it was a flip, unfiltered response but it does motivate the Trump/GOP base no matter how much you want to downplay it.

He could have said he was gonna have a BLT on white bread and the Trump base would be clutching thier pearls. Im not downplaying anything....Im just not gonna lose my **** because the same people who applaud when thier dear leader calls groups murderers and thugs or says they come fron ****hole countries got up in arms because Biden said something stupid. Remember this....they have the same reaction when he says smart things too.

that joe would have expressed himself in the manner that he did will turn off a portion of the 92% of that black demographic which preferred him in the polls
despite the stark preference, doesn't mean they will make the effort to show up at the polls
as hillary learned
nobody likes being taken for granted. it's the kind of thing that will cause one to reassess their relationship
this so documents why biden is such an awful candidate. the only thing he has to run on is that he is not tRump. that should not be the CV of the democratic nominee for the position of most powerful person on the planet. there are too many better options to settle for joe

Most people his age don't give a crap but someone who is running for president, just like the incumbent, doesn't get excused for saying it wrongly.

Then every verbal blunder Trump makes cannot be excused either, which is almost daily. I know I make them unintentionally. I think we can rise above these sort of trivial criticisms or at least not make a big deal of them or the whole process becomes nothing but petty bickering.
