A federal judge on Monday allowed a federal lawsuit accusing President Donald Trump, his three eldest children and his company of collaborating with a fraudulent marketing scheme to prey on investors to proceed. The lawsuit, originally filed in October 2018 and amended a few months later, alleges that in exchange for "secret" payments, Trump and three of his adult children used his former reality TV show "The Celebrity Apprentice" and other promotional events as vehicles to boost ACN Opportunity, a telecommunications marketing company linked to a nonprofit that used Trump's brand to appeal to teens. The lawsuit also accuses the Trumps of having profited off the poor and vulnerable, as people looking "to enrich themselves by systematically defrauding economically marginalized people looking to invest in their educations, start their own small business, and pursue the American dream."The Trumps "deliberately misled" consumers about the likely success of their investments, the suit claims, and engaged in "a pattern of racketeering activity."

I don't see any fraud here.
There is nothing that suggests fraud.

Plenty of people pay for licensing or promotion of a product or service.


ACN networking is an MLM company.
It has the same pay structure of other MLM companies.

The lawsuit is frivolous.
The judge should have dismissed it.

Trump has 0 investment in the company other than being paid to advertise it.
there is no scam here other than the one that these lawyers are running.

i agree. i don't see any fraud here. Plenty of people pay for sponsorship or promotions on programs.
listen to any talk radio show or morning show. They have promotional spots all over the place.

ACN is a MLM.

MLM's vary in what you can make. most MLM's make their money in their downlines, but this is just how it goes in sales in general.
the fact is that if people aren't making money at it then you are either selling a bad service or you are just bad in sales and need
to think of something else.

I see no fraud here. this judge is another idiot with an axe to grind.
if there is any fraud it would be on the point of ACN not trump.

The one on the left is Eric, the dumb one. He's looking at the sky trying to figure out what that big round yellow object is.

Junior is pissed because he didn't get any offers lately to collude with Russians.

Ivanka looks like she just slapped Daddy's arm away. He probably tried to cop a feel again.

Trump is looking at the sun wondering why his idiot son Eric is looking in the wrong direction, and why Tiffany's breasts didn't grow as big as he hoped they would when he was all excited talking on television about her breasts as she was swaddled in her bassinette next to him.

Oh. So you will forever reject every SCOTUS decision settled in favor of Trump by the conservative majority because Trump nominated Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. Right?
