Costco kicks out customer for not wearing a mask

I've carried at Disneyland, I have no problem with people carrying at demonstrations. If you don't see the gun, or more importantly don't hear the gun--- what is the problem?

It depends. Are you using the gun to intimidate or for personal protection? If you are using it to make yourself feel big and to intimidate others and not for self protection, then I wonder of the 2nd Amendment actually covers you having that gun. SCOTUS ruled that the 2nd Amendment allowed individuals to have weapons for "self defense". If you are using them to intimidate, then I would believe that the second amendment would not cover your ownership of the gun for that purpose. It would be like yelling fire in a crowded theater, something that is not covered under the first amendment as free speech.

That's assaulting a police officer. How many were arrested for it?

Editing his post then literalizing the figurative. More dishonesty from you.

Costco Employee Boots Customer, Takes Cart for Refusing to Wear Mask

Talk about completely outrageous from Costco. Kicking out a customer for not wearing a mask?

Let me make sure I have this right. The same people who told gay people to wander around until they find a store that will sell them the same stuff they sell to every straight person in the world are now upset that Costco is enforcing a policy it enacted in its stores to keep their employees and their customers alive.

Un****ingbelievable.

No one seems to complain about the "no shoes, no shirt, no service" policy a lot of businesses have, so why is wearing a mask a bridge too far?

Conservative media. No normal person would have objected to wearing a mask until Fox and Limbaugh told their viewers that globally accepted and globally enacted life saving measures were the trademarks of a fascist conspiracy concoted by American Democrats to destroy the entire planet just to stick it to Trump.

They're all ****ing morons. Every last one of them.

Stop lying.
Someone's quote of you is not your post. I did not alter your post, I altered my quote of your post, which is well within the forum rules to do.

Go back and look at your post, I haven't altered it. I can't, I'm not a mod.

It is common practice to quote only the portion of what you say that we're specifically responding to. There was no intention of hiding it. I even included the TrackBack button so that anyone could go see the post I was quoting.

Everyone does it, so get used to it.

You quoted me and chopped off what you didn't want to address to try and control the narrative and make it personal.

Asking personal questions is also well within the forum rules. You seem to think 'make it personal' means to attack you in some way. You're being defensive.

<shrug> The problem with myopic folks is the "myopic" part.

He cant even provide a link and a quote that supports his claim?

Uh huh.

I think it's obvious he was wrong. Posting the proof would be easy.

This is the barely coherent and grammatically inept speech of a man who desperately wants to be able to claim that he "cured coronavirus."

That's it, in a nutshell. When we do get a handle on this crisis, he wants to be able to pull out footage and declare "I called it! I said use this! I said try this! I told them to do this, it was my idea!" He's just doing it with lots of stupid stuff because he doesnt want to miss an opportunity. He's afraid 'the big one' will be mentioned and he wont get credit for it.

It's all about declaring himself the savior of the cv crisis and we'll hear all about it, esp in his campaign. (Which is basically each of his press briefings these days) --- Lursa

Again, my quote of his post and his post are 2 different things.

We don't know that they're the same people.

I don't edit anyone's posts unless they're too long for me to add a response. It's generally rude and misleading, but that's just my opinion.

What's with the 20 questions?

It is alot of questions from a guy who cant support his own simple claim. Who says he has and cant provide a quote proving it.

Seems hypocritical.

Yeah, that's just your opinion. How long has this forum been running? Has editing a post quote EVER been against the rules?

Don't get defensive with me. There's just no good reason to edit someone else's post except for the one I just offered. I didn't say anything anout the rules. I was talking about etiquette.

No. Masks are useless without accompanying eye cover and gloves. PLUS the mask I ordered a month ago is STILL in the mail.
You don't cough or sneeze through your eyeballs, do you? Now take your left hand and snap your wrist as you fling it forward. How far did your saliva have to travel through the air and hit someone elses face when you did?

Notice how no one even asked for the reason of the edit? You just made assumptions and assumed you were correct....

You said you deleted the portions you weren't directly replying to. I can read. I don't need to ask you a question you already answered. That's not an assumption, fyi.

Thank you. Still waiting for him to provide a source...where that's supported...for that claim. No quote has been forthcoming.

Here in Ohio they do. I mean, we carry into those businesses anyway, but they post their sign and feel better because of it.

What happened to "freedom of association"?

Get ready, everyone, here comes another quote edit :D

You don't cough or sneeze through your eyeballs, do you?
I don't cough or sneeze into a mask, either. That's gross.

Now take your left hand and snap your wrist as you fling it forward. How far did your saliva have to travel through the air and hit someone elses face when you did?
My hands are dry and there's no one in the bathroom with me.

Any other silly arguments you'd like to make?

You said you deleted the portions you weren't directly replying to.
Right, and then I said 'did you notice no one asked me why'?
